These are sturdy pads which work well in my Sizzix Big Shot. I have to replace the pads every now and then because (as is to be expected) they become marked by the cutting dies. This causes microscopic pieces of card to become trapped in the cuts, which can sometimes be transferred back onto the next piece of card you cut, or leave indented marks on otherwise pristine cardstock. The price is good and the size and fit are perfect for a Sizzix Big Shot. They're easy enough to use - just recycle your old pads and put the new ones in. The nature of die cutting is such that replacing the cutting pads a couple of times a year (if you use your Big Shot as often as I do) is unavoidable. The price of the replacement pads is low enough for this not to be too painful financially.

Good value for money

These are a little expensive for what is essentially 2 pieces of acrylic, however they are much better quality than the previous 3rd party set I had. Durability-wise, the better you look after them the longer they will last. I turn my plates after every cut and flip them top and bottom so that they get even wear and they don't curve too much. I use these regularly and haven't had any issues yet. When I need another set I will definitely choose these again over 3rd party ones.

I broke one of my original pads, which I now use for cutting small items at my desk. Having purchased a new set gives me an extra pad for cutting very intricate dies, that could become lodged in the ridges of the older pad.
