COTY Airspun Loose Face Powder - Translucent

Wonderful face powder which mattifies makeup without cakey-ness. Leaves the skin with a soft satin like finish which allows for skin glow to shine through. Isn’t the MOST long lasting of all the powders i’ve tried and definitely needs touch ups if you have oily skin but since this powder doesn’t separate throughout the day this is very achievable. One of these tubs has lasted me for almost a year so it’s great value for money. I’ve not had any issue with flashback either. Great for everyday use.

Probably the best powder I ever used. It lasts ages as the container is actually very big. Very happy with the product.

I like how big the size you’re getting is compared to bigger brands like Laura mercier and gucci, which I have, this is better value. It’s a nice powder with a mild refreshing fragrance. It included a fluffy powder puffer which is good if you don’t have one and are on the go, but I didn’t like it since it absorbed too much product so I just use my own sponge. The longevity is good too. For me, it lasts for a good 2/3 hours before shine appears, during winter as I have oily combo skin. It’s quite a finely milled powder and a little goes a long way under eyes, and other dryer areas on your face.I bought this after reading reviews and hearing lots of good feedback, I’m a happy customer. This is going to last me a while and I use it almost daily. I like how it has a little pigment but mostly doesn’t distort the colour of your foundation underneath. It’s almost as good as my Laura mercier powder and definitely better priced.

I bought this based on the previous reviews. I wasn't expecting it to live up to the high levels of praise that I've read but being translucent and having extremely fair skin, I decided to give it a try. I've been using it for nearly a week now and I absolutely love it!First of all, the smell. There was a lot of talk about the fragrance of this product so I was slightly nervous because it seemed to really split the crowd. From some of the reviews I'd read about how it smelled like your favourite granny, I was half expecting it to smell like a Monday morning post office queue, but the smell is actually gorgeous. It has very traditional talcum powder smell which is very nostalgic and I personally love it. But the smell vanishes within 90 seconds after application so even if you don't really like the smell, it soon goes. Now I was concerned about using a product that had a strong fragrance because I have a lot of random allergic reactions to cosmetics, which result in my eyes streaming for hours at a time. But this product doesn't make me react at all so if you do have sensitive skin, it should be fine for you.The powder itself is extremely light. I personally prefer to apply it with a brush but it comes with a powder puff if you prefer. When I read the comments about it making your skin glow, I was concerned that it would make me look like those Instagram girls who look like they've had an incident with the contents of an Etch-a-Sketch. It does give your skin a luminous glow, but not in the way a highlighting product does. It's really hard to describe, but my skin looks illuminated and slightly airbrushed. I am in my 40s so I have a fair few wrinkles, but this doesn't sink into them like many powdered products do. It just makes me look really healthy, whether used alone or on top of foundation.I am currently having a fun time with menopausal symptoms and hot flushes. There isn't anything in existence that keep my face from getting a bit shiny by the end of the day but this product does the best job of anything that I've used in recent years. I do have to touch up the T-zone by the end of the day, but the rest of my face stays put and looks just as healthy after several hours of wear.I've never previously had a favourite face powder product; they all seem to be lacking in some aspect. But I am seriously in love with this one. I really hope that they don't ever stop making it, because I doubt I will ever use another face powder product again now that I've found this.

Hands down, this is a superb product. It's everything you'd want from a basic pot of loose powder. Let's not even begin with the value you get out of it. I have sensitive skin and am happy that I've not reacted adversely at all to using it on a daily basis. I'm probably the rare few here who are not into baking and have acquired this simply to keep my BB cream mattified over the day. It does the job and even starts my day off with a lovely scent. Initially, it might take a bit of getting used to but after a few days, it simply feels like peaches and roses! FYI, the coverage is light and not as 'opaque' as say Clinique's blended loose face powder.You'd also like to know that the packaging is basic but very decent. It's a sturdy plastic exterior, contains a powder puff inside and the sides of the pot comes tapped with clear scotch. I reckon that's to prevent the top from popping open during transit. I've transferred a third of the contents into another empty loose powder container to use on a daily basis. I reckon it'll take me quite a while to get through the entire pot and this might help keep the original contents fresher and prevent it from oxidising with overexposure to humid air.

I've been wearing makeup everyday for a couple of years now, and believe it or not, I hadn't tried a loose setting powder before! I have a gamut of pressed powders, but due to being afraid of mess on my new carpet, I had reservations about trying out a loose powder, and boy, was I missing out!This has been a real gamechanger! I've always struggled with making my makeup last anything over 3-4 hours using drugstore products (setting sprays, primers, the whole works), and I couldn't be happier I decided to order this powder. I kid you not, my makeup stays put looking exactly the same for a solid 10 hours (haven't tried longer than this).As for the smell, yes, it's quite fragranced. It smells like a floral baby powder. I actually like it. It also reminds me of old people products, and somehow gives me a bit of nostalgia. But yeah, I have to say it's quite a pronounced smell, so if you're sensitive, take this as a heads-up!I, for one, am extremely happy with this product, and would advise everyone reading this to make this purchase. You will not regret it!
