Arrived quickly.Works really well, both in the workshop for heating metal and in the kitchen to finish off creme brûlée's.I would give it 5 stars for ease of use, except that you have to use matches to light it, no self-spark facility.If you don't get the gas flow or match position just right, it blows out the match and you have to keep trying.Once lit, it's great.

I brought this to strip the gloss from several door frames and a couple of little plumbing jobs.I'm really pleased with mine, it lights easily and stays lit for as long as required, the control valve has a decent adjustment to control the heat adequately and the handle is substantial enough for prolonged use.It also comes with a plastic base that fits on the bottom of the gas canister to stand it up.The only flame outs I've had is when I tipped it upside down, seems OK on it's side for the low parts of the frame.Uses GoSystem Butane/Propane (70:30) Mix Gas Cartridge

Good value for money as bought for a specific project and worked well.Light to hold and control when using,enabling directing of flame to correct point.

It broke the 2nd time I used plus it kept going out when it did work

Not an expensive high end torch, but if you only need something for occasional DIY, why spend any more. Took a bit of time to work out the best way to light it. You need to turn it to low, light it and let it burn for a short while to heat up. Then turn it up to get the heat you need. I was soldering copper fittings and it did the job no problem.

Bought to help get some motorbike disk bolts out, turns out I didn’t need the heat.I’ve got some bearings to go in and some exhaust studs to come out so I’ll update my review then. Burnt fire fire
