I heard about these a while ago, but have always had one of the stick to the window jobbies. After getting a new car I noticed a warning in the owners manual about anything above the dash can interfere with the deployment of the side air bags. I think this is why the garage always removed my stick on holder from the corner of my window during an MOT. Not sure why I didn't go for this sooner, but it is absolutely amazing! Following the instructions, there are sticky pads that aid a snug fit & protection to your head unit. The screw also clamps it in firmly. Make sure you use both of these! This is the most solid holder I've ever used. My phone is going nowhere. There are speed bumps almost immediately outside my house that I have to cross several times a day, but this unit didn't even flinch. I purposely bought the bigger tablet size because I intend to use a 7" 3G tablet as a sat nav / streaming radio and I have every confidence this will hold it like a champ. For now though it holds my tall screen phone in portrait mode clamping at the top & bottom with it's nice cushioned ends. A couple of extra points I liked, firstly once you've got everything screwed down & set your position, there is still enough movement to adjust the angle your device sits at, without being too loose that it falls down. The second is that you can flip the entire unit over if you don't like how it sits. When I first set it up I had the screw part on top, but this made my device hang too low & block the radio. After flipping it over, my phone now sits above the radio in front of the vents, but far enough out to not interfere with air flow. In conclusion: Get it, you won't regret it!

Works well with my Samsung Fold 5. Only took 2 minutes to fit. It is very stable, easily adjusted and holds the phone well be it folded or open. Great bit of kit.

Seemed to be what I needed to have a tablet displaying android auto in my car however it was just a little too big for the tablet I was using, the fitment into the player was easy and very secure however I don't know about stability as the tablet wouldn't hold tight. Also I hadn't thought about access to the heating controls etc that would be hidden when the tablet was in place. Seems to be a good quality item that could have worked well if I'd got my sizes right.

Simple yet effective, sturdy design, appears to be well made. Minimal movement of tablet when secured correctly. Make sure you fasten both bolts tightly. With this I have enabled Alexa in my car by doing the following: 1.Securing my Fire HD with this mount. 2. Connecting my Fire HD via Bluetooth to a FM modulator £15 ish from Amazon. This also charges both my Fire and Phone via USB. Tidy cables away by purchasing short ones. I tune my car to 108.00Mhz. 3. Hotspot my phone whilst in the car (I have 30Gb of data specifically for hotspot) 4. “Alexa...” and she’s with me hands free all the way, music plus messaging and calling. Gives my 2005 Mazda 3 a Centre console screen with voice control. All for less than you’d think.

Really sturdy, and very strong holding mechanism. I can see this working really well, with minimal wobble. However, the fit is quite snug for my Honor Magic V2. I really have to force it into the clips, and out again, which makes me a little nervous with my foldable. Will try the magnetic alternative, which hopefully will be just as firm a hold.

In this day and age you dont use cd anymore. So this product gives your cd radio a second life. LoL Amazing how simple it works. And its steady. You can use it for tablet but also your phone, holding it in portrait mode. For this price you have great value! Thanks.
