Come Clean, Natural Moisturising Shampoo, 8 oz (236 ml)

I have notoriously picky curls where anything too cleansing dries them out into frizz, but if it's too lo-poo then I have straggly and oily curls which are impossible to revive. I bought this while looking for a replacement for the cruelly discontinued Shea Moisture weightless range. This is very similar but leaves my hair cleaner. Pleasing but subtle scent. Somehow this is both moisturising yet clarifies off all the crap my hairdresser puts on in their wisdom. It's impossible yet true.

I follow the Curly Girl Method but found I was getting a bit of build up and wanted a low-poo I could clarify my hair with to get it squeaky clean, and this definitely did the job. It was slightly drying but I followed it up with a big dollop of Garnier Banana Hair Food afterwards to condition and it felt lovely. It is fairly expensive but then I'm only planning on using it once or twice a month at most, so I'm expecting the bottle to last me many months.

Its definitely clarifying and strips the hair of products completely. Some might find it drying though but it was ok for me. However, in case you didnt know this shampoo contains sulfates which can be extremely drying and damaging to hair. Dont use this regularly, only when you need a deep cleanse.

I started the curly girl method a couple months ago, and I bought this to have my “final wash” and to completely cleanse my hair once a month of any buildup caused by styling products or the hard water in London. It smells lovely, it lathers enough so that you can distribute well, and does leave your hair squicky clean. Definitely NOT FOR DAILY USE it’s for when you need to unclog your pores and DEEP CLEAN YOUR SCALP, which everyone should do once a month! Great shampoo product, used and ordered it multiple times. Recently however, as i was removing the seal from the bottle, unbeknownst the bottle had been leaking from the bottom and caused a massive mess due to improper packaging. This left half of the bottle empty and resulted in wasted money.

This definitely strips all of the rubbish out of your hair. Used it when starting the curly girl method to rid my hair of silicones, but also limescale as I live in a harder water area. Hair was squeaky clean afterwards. Make sure you deep condition well. I would probably only use this shampoo once a month or less as it is too harsh on fine wavy hair for frequent use. Top marks, as it did exactly what I wanted it too. Edit: after 6 months of use I would not be without this shampoo! Not as harsh as I first though so I use it a few times a month. I normally spend under £5 on shampoo, but I make an exception for this one!!

I used this shampoo before and disliked it so much that i threw away the bottle. It made my hair feel like straw. Awful! However, approx 3 years later, I thought I would try it again. I love it. It smells gorgeous and completely cleans my scalp and shoulder length 4b-c hair so thoroughly. You should follow up with a deep conditioner (with heat) to re add the moisture that has been stripped away. I wouldn't be without it.

Does the trick, left my mane feeling feeling squeaky clean yet moisturised, don't know how they've done it but it's exactly what my hair needs after much product build up.

Holy crap!!!! Why did I wait so long to try this stuff?!?! Wow, wow, wow, wow!!! I have long hair, about 4 inches above my tail bone, light blonde in color, LOW POROSITY, 2B curl pattern and my town has horrendous hard water. It leaves a film on everything it touches, mainly calcium deposits and after a short time if you don't scrub the area it touched it turns to a rust color. Anyways, if you have hair like mine and have bad city water, holy crap, DO NOT HESITATE TO GET THIS!!! I'm not exaggerating when I say, after ONE Wash my hair looked like I went and got it bleached again. Not hard-core in your face bleached, but a high quality but also GENTLE and HEALTHY bleach. It was SO INCREDIBLY SMOOTH AND SOFT AND DOWN RIGHT SILKY FEELING. It wasn't weighed down in the slightest but also not dry on the ends. I should note I did buy the conditioner at an actual store (they were out of the shampoo) I wanted to try both and i waited until I got my shampoo to wash my hair, so i could use both at once. Holy crap. I'm really kinda dumb founded why I haven't tried this stuff earlier. I can say with 100% certainty, this, along with the kinky curly knot today leave in detangler is my new HOLY GRAIL SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER. I used to be in love with the Shea Moisture Low porosity shampoo and leave in detangler, but they stopped making it a few years ago. Man, when I learned that I about cried, and no, I'm not exaggerating on that either. I'm 42 years old and it's been an on going battle with my hair. Either it's a frizz ball or it's greasy weighed down roots or its falling out or breaking off horribly, etc. My hair is naturally dark blonde but I do dye it a very light neutral blonde color. Over the years it will get dull looking and stupid me, I would just go bleach it again. I was putting bleach over bleached hair for decades. Gee, I wonder why my hair breaks off at the ends so much lol. Welp, now I've solved my problems. Low porosity and hard water = nightmare hair days. GET CHEALTED SHAMPOO LIKE THIS ONE AND YOU WILL BE SINGING LIKE A BIRD WHEN THE SUN RISES ON A GLORIOUS SPRING DAY!

Das ist ein sog. Clarifying Shampoo, kein Tiefenreinigungs-Shampoo, für die Curly Girl Methode, also ohne austrocknenden SLS und dennoch gut reinigend um alle beschwerenden Rückstände im Haar, Stylingschaum, Gel etc., zu entfernen. Gleichzeitig ist es pflegend und spendet Feuchtigkeit, schäumt nur leicht und duftet dezent. Ausserdem ist es sehr sparsam in der Anwendung. Wer trockene Haare/Kopfhaut hat, sollte anschliessend vielleicht eine Kur auftragen. Ich habe es schon mehrfach nachgekauft und finde es ist das beste Clarifying Shampoo auf dem Markt. Interessant auch für Menschen mit empfindlicher Kopfhaut. Klare Kaufempfehlung. Allerdings ist es möglicherweise anderswo günstiger zu bekommen als hier, der Preis erscheint mir viel zu hoch.

I had a really good experience using this. I liked the smell as well. I noticed my hair remained soft and it didn't strip away any moisture.
