Our grass has never been brilliant. Last year we got rid of the moss, but this year we had a lot of clover - previously choked out by the moss? I spread the 4 in 1 a few weeks ago and after being away two weeks the growth was amazing - maybe the weather was more conducive to grass growing than the previous few months, or hopefully the feed works well - the growth seems to be continuing well. (Is this a good thing? More mowing required!). Weeds and clover seem to have gone although a few mushrooms have now appeared!One cautionary note - I bought the Evergreen Spreader and this helps an even and measured spread which is very important. However it is difficult to avoid an "overdrop" at the point where you stop and start -take care so you avoid the burned lines where this happened. I intend to repeat the process next year and will take more care!Jan 14 - further to my comment about overspill - one particular spot on our lawn has a 2" wide blank line where too much landed. Despite trying to spread it out at the time it has just burned this small area away. Perhaps I should have used a vacuum cleaner. My carelessness, so no variation in the 5 stars. I will be putting down some lwan seed to fill in.

Regular use of this product will improve your lawn. Used alone, you can't expect it to transform a scruffy and uneven patch of browny green into a perfect sward but EverGreen is certainly a good place to start if you'd like a better lawn and with Amazon it's delivered to your door at a competitive price. The product is simple to apply and simply requires strewing - it comes as granules - across the lawn as per the pack instructions at the appropriate time. No complicated dilution / watering processes to follow. You can expect EverGreen to help to keep moss and weeds at bay and overall to significantly improve the look of your lawn. A pack this size will last a long time if you have an average sized lawn but it will store well for 2-3 years at least with no discernible detriment to the product. Recommended.

I bought this because getting to fertilise the lawn, kill weeds and kill moss all in one go sounded great. The lawn had previously been neglected and at one point had looked more like a summer meadow with dandelions, daisies and plantain galore.Having read mixed reviews of spreaders and droppers I decided to spread by hand, although I did do a lot of science to it weighing out how much per m2 and using a square metre template. Fortunately my lawn is not too big that this was still practical. I watered it in several hours later and let it get to work.Let's start with the immediate downside. Despite my careful (scientific) spreading I still ended up scorching patches with some worse than others. These were areas where the grass turned black and pretty much looked like it had died. I was not amused but watered some more and thought I'd see what happens.3 weeks on, overall the results have been great. Dandelions have drastically reduced in numbers, daisies are now a much rarer sight and the grass has a new found green colour I didn't know it had. Almost glowing green in places. The scorched patches have almost totally recovered but I'm wary about using the all-in-one again in case I do more damage next time. I might have to convert to separate weedkillers and fertilisers.Whatever you do, it's much better to under-treat your lawn when spreading than apply too much and turn the grass black and kill it. I had a brown mess of a lawn. Full of weeds. Having cut the lawn/weeds at the weekend. When this miracle turned up on Tuesday it was perfect condition. I spread it as it says in the Vidieo. Since then we have had down pours. I cut grass on Friday and it looked amazing. I may even have to cut again today it is growing so well. Thanks Miracle Grow. It works

Last year my lawn was about 80% weeds. I said to my husband we'd probably have to get someone in to sort it out it was terribly and with an 18 month old that wanted to be outside was not pleasant... We put this down last autumn and not really thought much about the lawn over winter. My husband cut the lawn this weekend and it just looked amazing! Most of the weeds are gone, and the only ones left are a couple of patches where you can see we have missed! Father in law recommended this product and I was sceptical but it is amazing. Going to purchase another bag for the patches we missed plus just to feed the lawn. Amazing, just wish I'd have taken before and after pics of my lawn! Feels like our house has gained an extra room as now the lawn is usable again.

Note: I had a decent green backyard, but it was mainly grass, moss, and an assortment of weeds. I wanted something that would kill the moss and weeds and help the existing grass growing while putting new seeds down to make the lawn lush with real grass. I purchased two bags of this and placed on my large backyard 9 days ago. To-date, I see little to no new grass growing even though I have watered every day since. Also, this will exhibit a huge amount of smell afterwards, so be expecting that for the first week you aren't going to be able to go out and enjoy your yard and you'll need to close your windows. Also, it does kill moss and weeds and basically left 80% of my yard brown after about 3 days. I used the smallest number on the distribution control when I placed this on my lawn, so it wasn't like I overkilled it by dumping massive amounts of it. I don't think yet that I can say it is a total bust, as to why 3 stars! The verdict is still out...
