Kärcher Window Vac WV 2 Plus

I should have bought this years ago. I always hated washing Windows because it took so long and I'm a bit lazy so i used to leave them for as long as i could but now they are done in no time at all with almost no mess and I quite enjoy it. I used washing up liquid and water in the spray bottle and it does a great job, so no need to buy any special cleaners. I charged it and off I went. There is the odd drip if you hold upside down so just don't hold it upside down problem solved. One charge does all the windows and I have plenty. It's really easy to use that my kids can work it too, but unfortunately the novelty wore off them so its back to me. I did say I was lazy but to be honest I don't mind doing windows anymore I even brought it to my parents house and did theirs for them. I would recommend this to anyone.

Oh my goodness this thing is awesome! It’s rare, I think, to purchase something that has such great reviews and promises to be brilliant and then is. This is that thing! I’ve used the vac for the first time today throughout my house, so 8 windows, two of which are 3 meters long. I also did four large mirrors and the glass in my front door. There was enough cleaning liquid in the 20ml sachet which comes with the pack and the reservoir in the vac was sufficient to hold all the liquid. The battery lasted too and didn’t make any noises to indicate it was dying! I was expecting the vac to suck up some of the water on the windows but expected streaks, smears and left over water. But nope, it worked exactly as described! My whole house had clean windows (well, inside anyway!) in no time at all with no need for buffing afterwards. The instructions are really clear and simple, everything you need is provided and I would expect the 500ml bottle of cleaning fluid you can buy separately, would easily last more than a year so at just under £4 I think that’s well worth getting. I am genuinely so happy with this product and would absolutely recommend it.

I had heard alot about this product and that combined with a surge of online advertising meant I was sufficiently influenced to try. My initial thoughts were product was very light and the spray container for fluid dispensing was poor quality and leaks on every use, however the actual karcher product is great. I use it every day in the shower and it not only saves time (as previously wiped down surfaces with a rubber window cleaner) it also leaves a streak free and dry surface. I have used on the house windows and it speeds up the process of window cleaning considerably. Can leave streaks visible in direct sunlight, so would recommend having a lint free cloth just to quickly rub over once used karcher, but even with this additional step has cut down window cleaning time by more than half and with a better finish. No going back for me, i'm converted.

Initially I was very pleased with the ease of use of this window vac. Combined with the extension poles (sold separately) it makes cleaning high windows very much easier. You do need to use this appliance before the sun gets on your windows to avoid smears but any are easily removed using a soft micro fibre cloth after cleaning has been completed. Unfortunately after three uses over an eight month period, the unit has stopped working. It was cleaned and stored full charged after its last use in July 18 but on trying to use the vac today, the power light is flashing when turned on but the motor appears to be dead. I am going to try contacting Amazon for a replacement or repair as the unit is still under warranty. Amazon website referred me to manufacturer. I have contacted Karcher via their Online chat and they have given me instructions on how to proceed with a warranty claim. I'll update this review following their reply. Updated August 2018 Karcher were extremely apologetic that the window vac had malfunctioned and immediately arranged to send a replacement power unit out to my home. Their working schedule is four working days and delivery is on a day convenient to the customer. The brand new replacement window vac power unit arrived as promised this morning in a return box. I simply had to remove and retain the cleaning head and water reservoir which were working perfectly and exchange the defective part. This was a simple procedure and worked flawlessly. The brand new replacement motor works fine and the remaining period of the initial two year warranty is still valid. Very impressive customer service on a great machine and I have escalated the star rating back up to five stars.

I've resisted buying one of these for a long time as I was sure it would be a gimmick. However, I've been pleasantly surprised. It's frankly, brilliant. We have a lot of glass in our house (10 patio-style doors on the ground floor) and it costs a fortune to have a window cleaner do them inside and out. With dogs and grandchildren, they frequently need doing. This thing is so quick and easy to use and does a very, very reasonable job of the glass (maybe not up to the standards of a professional window cleaner doing it by hand). Sucking up the water means you're not constantly wiping around the windows and having to wring out cloths. It's really fast and efficient to use. Even on a day with bright winter sunshine, the windows look great. I don't know what's in the special liquid you can get from Karcher, but it's definitely the best solution to use as it is very streak resistant.

This is a great bit of kit!! I have looked at this product from time to time and whilst I really wanted one, I really didn't want to fork out so much. But when it was recently reduced by Amazon, hell-fire, I just had to get it. I was not disappointed. There are many similar products out there but by spending a bit of money, you truly get a quality piece of equipment. It arrived well-packaged with clear, no-nonsense instructions and it worked straight out of the box. I thought it was going to be heavy and chunky, but far from it. The designers at Karcher really thought this through and it is remarkably light and easy to use. It comes with a spray bottle with rewashable mop-thingy for the wiping of the window first and then the WV2 just sucks up all the dirt from the window leaving them amazingly clean. I've used it indoors on mirrors, outside on the car (brilliant on the car) and the windows, of course. Emptying the dirty water container is so simple and I've only had to charge it once since getting it. I did buy an extra 500ml of cleaning concentrate but even that is amazing at how little you need to use. Well done Karcher.

My mum really likes this gadget, but I can't see the point. I thought it was a cleaning device but all it does it suck the dirty water up once you have already washed the window. And the suction isn't that great. This is my mum's second karcher as the first one stopped working after the third use. In fairness, Amazon replaced it for her immediately, after the 30 days. I wouldn't rate this, but mum does. Not very helpful!

I was a little sceptical after seeing some photos left in other reviews, however I decided to go ahead with the purchase. I smoke an e-cigarette, so this often leaves the a layer on windows and mirrors. Because of this I have to clean the windows more frequently than I should. It was easy to piece together and equally easy to take apart for cleaning. If you're careful and follow the instructions, you can achieve the streak-free windows as the product boasts. Tips: - Don't tilt the vac, keep it parallel. - Don't be shy to apply the detergent. I've not noticed any issues with extra liquid, it's what it's designed to do. When the window is dry is when streaks appear. All-in-all very impressed with this product, it's a massive time saver with great results. Usually it would take 15 minutes to clean the 2 windows and patio doors in my apartment by hand. On the day of purchasing this I decided to do 3 mirrors, 2 windows, and the glass on the shower cubicle. All in under 15 minutes!

They sent it to Phoenix Az with a charging cord that can not be plugged in the United States I would keep it if they would send me a plug in I could use

Es fácil de usar - vale lapena comprar el liquido Kärcher para que quede muy bien. Hay que repasar esquinas con un drapo para limpiar cristales. Este aparato ahorra muchisimo tiempo, no te duelen los brazos depués y es muy fácil de usar. No entiendo los comentarios negativos . Ví el video en youtube antes cómo hacerlo bien y tal cual - super satisfecho

Produit reçu à temps ... mais dommage l'adaptateur est avec une prise anglaise et non française, donc inutilisable.

la prise secteur n'est pas adaptée au reseau électrique français, donc impossible à utiliser sans racheter un adaptateur, j'aurais préféré le savoir à la commande!
