Draper 12543 Mini Diagonal Side Cutter, 110mm,Blue

Overall they are quite comfortable to hold and cut stuff with while testing them I actually dented a 20p coin with little force but when I cut stuff like wires they get stuck shut a lot id say like 70% of the time which makes it uncomfortable when you are trying to strip a wire while holding it. It came quite rough with the metal scratched up and the plastic seams quite large but they work well for stripping and cutting wires I feel like my problem about them getting stuck will fade with use but the only other thing I think could be better is the edge of the cutting heads could be sharpened a bit nicer as they have a very rough look on them. Overall I feel like these would last at least a couple of years and as long as you don't use them on massive things and just on 2 mil and under wire you'll be good with them.

Small,sharp and done the job.

I have mixed experience with Draper tools. The quality has gone down over the years - mainly due to imported and rebadged stock. I think these cutters are good value except where it matters - blunt as anything, so when it came to some precise wire terminations, I was disappointed when they just caught between the blades, rather than provide a clean cut. Overall a disappointing purchase

Used these to snip a plastic cable tie that we very tightly wrapped round a bundle of thin lighting wires. Wanted some smaller, delicate snippers to make sure I only cut the tie and not the wires, this did the job.

Not the finest quality but good for the price

Unfortunately original item broke on first usage, (why not 5 stars), seller replaced with no hassle and replacement working very well.

Very light they are hard working and the spring back makes the snipping far easier

The media could not be loaded.  Mini side cutters have one basic requirement - to be able to cut. For that, they need to be engineered so that the jaws meet. On that simple front, they failed. Everything else - ease of holding, value, comfort, longevity - becomes irrelevant. If you press *really* hard you can get the middle end of the jaws to meet - but they don't close parallel, so snipping fine wires at the front is impossible.Very disappointing, Draper. Returned.
