Nice little bluetooth receiver. You could use it to beam music from your phone to your car stereo - or - like me , you could use it to teleport your wired noise cancelling headphones into the bluetooth era. I have my headphones plugged into these and paired with my Apple TV. Helps me watch Netflix in the bedroom whilst my better half is trying to catch some shut eye! (you may have realised the reference to the review headline now!)Its the size of a small key fob and is light weight - I dont feel its weight on the headphones (over ear). In terms of connection quality, it just works - no interference / drop outs so far, and the streaming quality is good - no lags experienced either.I'm not a fan of the size of the included 3.5mm jack adapters , mainly because it doesn't fit my headphones. Just what I wanted! Like most people my music library is all digital and as a result my old stereo system has been left redundant for a number of years now, even though the system and speakers are still of a decent quality.This Bluetooth receiver has completely brought it back to life! Enabling me to play all my music and audio books from my phone straight onto my stereo system.For this price I would definitely recommend!

This is THE solution for connecting existing earphones/headphones to a Bluetooth device like an iPhone or iPad.I love my music and use expensive earphones (>£400). I really notice the difference in quality. The issue is that when I'm travelling it's a pain to keep swapping cable adapters to plug them into Apple devices with different connectors. This device avoids this issue. I plug my earphones into it (it's a tiny lightweight box) and pair it (once) with my iPhone and iPad - yes both! Whenever I play music on the iPhone, I hear it through the earphones. The same for the iPad. No need to pair again. No need to swap. It just works!Advantages: Reliable, lightweight, small, great sound quality and range, pairs with more than one device at the same time, sends battery status to status panel on mobile device.Disadvantages: It's possible to switch it on by accident, reducing battery life. You can hear 'bluetooth radio' sounds when listening to nothing (between tracks) or on very quiet classical music. This is inevitable - it affects all Bluetooth devices that I've ever used.

I'm using this in a VW Touran, its plugged into the 3.5mm socket under the armrest. It's a tiny device - the same size as a small USB stick so can go anywhere. I'm streaming primarily Audible from my iPhone SE and the sound quality is absolutely superb. No hum or any sort of background noise. Every bit as good as a cable straight into the phone. It only takes a couple of hours to charge and i've been using it for an hour a day for a couple of weeks and it's still going strong.About the only downside is that it doesn't auto power on when a power cable is attached - you always have to press the on button. Otherwise you could just leave it plugged in the whole time and it would turn on with the ignition. But apart from that its absolutely ideal.

Really easy to use, suitable for a number of applications. I use it on a guitar amplifier, hooked up to the aux input and I can now send my practise backing tracks via Bluetooth instead of having a cable which restricts the distance my device can be from the amplifier. Seller even sent an in-depth explanation of the instructions via email even though it came with an instruction booklet, but honestly you don't need it. Comes with two connection methods, a 20" (50cm) cable, and the metal shorty one in the picture. Another handy feature is that the back of the Receiver has a kind of rubbery non slip finish. Again, great in my application as my practise amplifier is on a stand at an angle pointing the sound at me rather than the floor. The receiver sits nicely on top, not sliding down. Also it hardly takes up any space being about 2 inches long, 1 inch wide and less than half an inch thick. Very happy with my purchase.

A decent Bluetooth adapter. Charge lasts a reasonable amount of time too. The only thing it doesn't do very well - if at all - is automatically connect to the phone when you first turn it on. Like my bluetooth speaker at home for example. You turn that on and it automatically connect to my phone. This device requires me to turn it on, and then connect it using my phone. The phone already has it as trusted, but it never automatically connects. This is an issue if you're in the car driving and want to switch it on.

This works great with all types of sound systems and allows me to play and control music from quite a distance and even, I've found, through a door and a wall. It is small enough to carry around in your pocket so that you can be the one to offer to control the music in a friend's house or party, without having to leave your phone on the side plugged in.The company are also excellent - mine stopped working after an extended period and they were quick to send me a new one in express post, which I received the next day.The only thing I'd say could be improved is that there should be a way to make it stay turned on when plugged in to charge even when music is not being played, so that I could come in and turn my music straight on when I come in from work or wake up in the morning or wherever, instead of having to walk over to my speakers and turn it on manually before playing.
