Looks good quality, like the way it completely seals the map by rolling over the top before velcro-ing it down. Easy to fold and put in a pocket if using printed A4 maps. Not used it in rain yet but will edit this review if any issues.

Great for what you use it for out and about with your map really good ease of use hardly any weight to it personally I would say it's good value for money I've had it for a few years now and it's still going strong

Size; holds a folded OS map, but protrudes and May stress the Velcro.Material; durable (so far).Transparency; good, as expected.The product is as you’d expect. It waterproofs maps and / or other paper-based items. There appears to be very limited condensation within the product itself when changing ambient temperatures. The item has Yet to be submerged but it has stood the rest of downpours and hail.I cannot yet comment on the durability of the lanyard holdings, but this tends to be where a lot of products fall short. This review will be updated should I experience any shortcomings with it.

This is really good, used it on a se kayak trip it works very well and no water ingress. Care needed when sealing it.

After a 3-day mountain hike in heavy rain I can say that this is a truly waterproof pouch albeit a little clumsy to open and close (but that's probably better from a waterproof perspective!)I had papers, maps, a mobile phone, a cable and a power bank in this pouch over a 10km walk in torrential rain on the last day of my hike - nothing got wet and my devices were in perfect condition.It can fold in half and sling around your neck. I tuck it into the straps of my exped cloudburst to keep it from moving around when I'm on the go. It allows me to refer to the maps inside whenever I want but still keeping the pouch from flying around my neck.

We have had a couple of these waterproof map holders and they have been fine but unfortunately this time the very first time we used it it broke and our map got wet and fell out. We are seasoned walkers and had to walk for 7 days without our map holder - we are very disappointed and upset that this holder was defective on the first time it was used. We now have to buy another for our next long distance walk and do not know which brand to buy next time.

Would be 4 stars except for poor quality hook fasteners on neck cord.I used it for Winter walking in Lakes in wet and windy mountain top conditions. It was fine for keeping map dry and the good map area size meant I could get a decent portion of the map visible in case without having to very neatly fold it in windy conditions. I didn't get any condensation issues either, so all good so far. However, I wasn't convinced by the clip fasteners, and only by good fortune when one of the fasteners (neither of which we're closing fully) allowed the map to fly off in the wind. This was easily "fixed" by putting the fasterners completely through the map case and tying them securly with a knot, thus not relying on the hook anymore. I see now another reviewer came to a similar solution.So good overall, but c'mon guys replace these cheap fasteners! In which case I would buy again.
