will this product run if i perspire?

A friend of mine is a make Up artist and advised me to use some translucent powder on top of the clown paint to stop it running. I went a Halloween party in it and it didn't run. Hard to say but it's pretty good stuff imo

Does this product have to used as a base or can I paint detail/pattern with it?

I think this depends on your experience/ability with face paint. I used this as a base, but I see no reason why you couldn't use it for detail also. This would definitely stay in place for a theatrical production and is probably a better alternative than an 'add water' faceprint, but it is perhaps a little tricky to work with if you're just looking to do fun face paint or childrens' parties etc.

Could i use Clown White to turn blonde hair grey for the stage?

You sure could! although it is very wet and sticky so you'd have to spread it thinly and build it up. This is a really amazing product for lots of reasons but a brilliant blender for colour and make up <3
