Amazon Basics Portable Photo Studio, Black

A good photo booth giving nice lighting and ample space for larger items. Very easy to assemble and pack away after. Good value for money and getting some great product shots now. It’s a shame they don’t do a very large version (1.5meters) as I’d probably buy that too!It’s worth noting the quality of this also seems good too. Has that feel about it that it will last for 5 years without issues.

For the price, this is a fantastic bit of kit and makes taking bright, consistent product photos easy.It's surprisingly heavy, but very sturdy and massive! I did have to take the background out and iron it (on the reverse side) to get the folds out, but it was pretty easy to do.There are two lights attached to the roof of the box - one at the front and one to the left. Using a small reflector to the right could minimise shadows whilst not removing too much contrast, just be aware it could make the light quite flat.I'm very impressed with images straight out of camera/phone. You do have to slightly over expose to get the background white (as it is very slightly grey), but it's not too tricky. Any further adjustments can be made in PS or LR.Overall, very happy. Looking forward to using it more and more :)

I wanted one that I didn’t have to assemble with pipes like the other ones available. This seemed easy and perfect as I only use it every now and again. It is definitely easy to assemble, theoretically. Definitely quicker than the pipes but it is a little awkward to unfold/put back together (don’t quite know where which flap goes etc, a bit of a fumble every time I unfold it. but not a deal breaker by all means.I’m a little disappointed with the way the light is laid out inside, it does cause slight shadowing towards the back. My husband says I should be easily able to install another light ourselves with some command strips (or Something similar) which is fine but would have preferred if it came with an extra light at the back right hand side. If you’re good at editing (I’m not) then it might not be a big deal for you. But pictures kind of show what I’m about.It’s very large, I can fit a large 3 tier cake easily (also managed to squeeze in my 3 year old, sat down) 👌🙏 consequently, you need a good space to store it, although it does store flat so not a big deal. I keep it under my bed.Backdrop is fine. Little bit crumbly. Wish there was other colours but white is fine. Easy to edit out the fold at the back and I’m terrible at editing.Excellent holes for shooting, I wouldn’t recommend shooting with the birds eye view with a phone as it’s so tall, I always need to zoom which lowers picture quality.Worth the price, i am generally happy with it, I would buy again and recommend it to others but would warn about the light issue.

Brilliant! I make handmade Swarovski Jewelry which is one of the most difficult objects to photograph due to its reflective properties.This light box does its job perfectly. It unfolds very easily, large enough to photograph Jewelry on a mannequin bust or head. It has a white flat mat background which is perfect for high key photography. Due to the box not having reflective inside walls I can now take pictures of clear Swarovski stones without black spots (caused by reflection) appearing in the stones. I was also pleased to see that the lights are diffused which is perfect for photographing Swarovski stones. Highly recommended.

This "mini studio tent" is well designed for the purpose of photographing smallish things in clear light and in isolation, for record or for sale. It is of good design, good material, and good build quality, and pretty decent value for money. (It is pretty much adequately lit, but could with advantage be better illuminated, and it would be an advantage to be able to buy an additional light module.)

Best Photo Box EVER!!! Easy to use, easy to store away.I am an online antique dealer, and I can honestly say that my sales have rocketed since I purchased this. My photos look far more professional than ever before.For me it's far easier to photograph my larger items, and the lighting system is perfect for my needs.I initially thought that it may have been a bit expensive, and held off fir a while. I really wished I hadn't as it easily paid for itself in a matter of a week or two.Don't hesitate to buy this if you rely on good product photography to sell things. It will honestly pay dividends.If there is a slight fault with it is that I sell a lot of silver, which, despite being thoroughly polished, tends to mark the white surface, and although it can be removed for cleaning, it still shows some mild darkness. I see that this is reflected in other feedback here, and I'd like to think that Amazon would consider creating spare backgrounds, whilst one us being deep cleaned, and perhaps a spare, darker colour, so that, for example, glass can be photographed better. It's a minor point only, and still rate this 5 stars.

This is perfect for my needs. Good lighting included inside Takes seconds to put up and to take down so extremely easy to use. Lots of room internally for larger items to be photographed including room for my cat. Very well made. More expensive than other units but is definitely worth the money.

I have used other portable photo studios but had problems with glare and reflections and lack of space to arrange shots.I have been using this Amazon studio for over a year and it has made a huge difference, so much so that I no longer have to even use a camera, my phone works perfectly with this studio because the extra size enables me to manoeuvre the shot even with the offset phone lens. Delighted with the results and with the quality and price.
