Bolt USB Receiver

I wanted this for use with a Logitech Pebble 2 M350s mouse on a Linux laptop. Whilst Bluetooth connection worked, the mouse movement was very jittery and unsatisfactory. This device solved the problem. It is possible to pair the mouse to the receiver in Linux (specifically Kubuntu 24.04) by using software called Solaar, which should be in your app manager. I had to remove the mouse from Bluetooth devices, switch off Bluetooth on the laptop, plug in the USB receiver, open Solaar and follow the instructions to pair, after which it works perfectly. Also note, up to 6 devices can be connected using this method (as you can if using Windows and the Logitech app).

I had originally connected both my MX Keys S keyboard and MX Master 3S mouse to my Mac Mini via bluetooth. I found the keyboard would occasionally be unresponsive or loose keystrokes. Now that I've connected the keyboard via the Bolt USB receiver the keyboard is working perfectly. In theory I could also connect the mouse to the same receiver but I haven't tried it, preferring to leave well alone :-).

Needed this to connect my Logitech MX mouse to my laptop whilst on the desk. Just downloaded the Logi app, plugged the Bolt in and one mouse now controls both my PC and laptop at the touch of a button. it has full functionality and there is no lag in connection.

I am somewhat annoyed that I had to purchase this separately for a new Anywhere 3S mouse so I could use it on a computer without bluetooth. Works however.

I ordered this after a lengthy online chat with Logitech about connecting their latest K380s keyboard to my 2011 IMac - I was told this would allow the two to pair, it doesn’t. It was only after re-contacting Logitech did they tell me the IMac had to support “Bluetooth Low Energy” which mine doesn’t. If they’d told me that in the first place I wouldn’t have ordered it. But I can’t fault Amazon’s delivery, which was next day, its not their fault that the Bolt doesn’t work - although it would be good if somewhere in the description it was highlighted that it needs Bluetooth low energy support.

Works as good as the one received with MX Keys Mechanical, purchased a second one so I can switch between machines easier.

I bought one to use with my MX mini (logitech are too mean to include one) and it worked once when I paired it and once more, never again. So I returned it. I probably just got unlucky, the one that came with my other, cheaper logitech keyboard seems to work consistently.

J'ai acheté une souris Logitech sans avoir bien lu ce qu'il y avait sur la boîte... J'ai dû acheter cet accessoire en plus, ce qui a augmenté le coût... de ma souris... Mais c'est du matériel Logitech, donc d'excellente qualité. Et on peut y connecter plusieurs dispositifs, si j'ai bien compris... Ca ne me servira à rien car je n'ai qu'un seule souris à connecter mais c'est ainsi...

Ottimo accessorio. Se avete necessitá di collegare una tastiera Bluetooth (tipo peeble keys 2 o altro compatibile con il bolt) sappiate che è supportato da Linux e configurabile con l'app Solaar. Inoltre il ricevitore vi permetterà di attivare la tastiera al caricamento di grub per la scelta del dual boot.
