Pawz Disposable Dog Boots
I bought these from USA when first introduced new a few years ago. Folks wanting an extensive dog boot that can be used again and again, as these are not. They can be used depending where dogs walked many times as yet I have not had a torn boot when used for a dog with a sore paw that needed protection from elements and the dog licking it's paw making it worse, although I'm sure they should not be left on endlessly, as the elastic band can be rather tight which secures that they don't come off as with risk of losing other tried dog boots. I mostly have used them singular or on more than one sore paw that obviously needed protection to pads etc. I have never used them on a regular never ending daily basis and I don't believe dogs need endless paw protection unless advised by a vet. I have now the three sizes upto medium for a Cavalier King Charles spaniels. In three years my dog has outgrown some of their boots! I recently bought the medium size from Amazon as the earlier size bought for dogs front hairy paws had needed next size upwards. Back paws again are different sized so a dog might need two pack's of disposable 12 boots. I have a Cavalier bitch and again she needs different sizes. The Pawz website has a print off colour coded sheet that is excellent for ensuring correct measurement. Print a few for future resizing. It seems dogs paws are like kiddies feet. I found they're handy for wintertime incase encountering road salt crystals occasional getting in between their toes that can cause some red sores between the pads. Keeping paw hair between pads trimmed help with trimmer but winter conditions can be harsh with ice and salt etc. Mushers is another new product for dog paw protection. All are obtainable on Amazon with in my experience quick dispatch. Spaniel paws have hairy slippers so don't need.....

Pawz Waterproof Dog Boot
These are not boots as such. They are more like a thick deflated balloon. They are difficult to get on but once on are not too bad (although they slip around the paw a bit). They are very good for elderly dogs or dogs that slip easily on polished floors or laminated floors as they are non-slip and give the dogs confidence (and avoid injuries caused by slipping). They do keep the dog's feet dry and clean too when out walking in adverse weather but if you walk your dog on hard ground a lot, they do wear through quite quickly. One word of caution though, do not leave these on your dog for long periods of time as they are quite tight around the ankles and could interfere with the circulation. Also, if left on for a long time, they cause the paw to sweat as no air can get through them and this could cause fungal infections and discomfort.

They work!
I don’t expect them to last so long. Easy to put on. They stay in place and protect the foot. Excellent design.

DO NOT BUY
Do not bit this product. Returns are not allowed. Nothing stated at time of purchase that this would be the case. I am now stuck with item which is of no use at all. Very frustrating / annoying

Great product.
Brilliant product, 12 in a pack, great for covering injured paws enabling your dog to still go out for a short walk,

Not really impressed
My whippet bitch suffers from cracked pads and I was looking for a lightweight boot to protect her feet. These are not very easy to fit, as they have to be stretched over the foot and then put into place. They are also the wrong shape! A dog's paw is an oblong shape, but these are round, so flap about on the end of the feet and my dog managed to tread on the flapping bit and pull the boot off soon after going out. They are OK for a sedate walk on the lead, but I wouldn't recommend them if the dog is running around off-lead. Also, when the dog went through a deep puddle water got inside the boot. They would be infinitely better is the boot was longer and narrower and rolled on (like a thick condom!). Better than nothing, but not very good

Brilliant to protect a sore paw!
These are fantastic. Quite fiddly but absolutely worth it (they’re like a very thick balloon). We tried the other strap on boots you can buy (which don’t work), but these are amazing. Our pup got a bad surface wound on his paw after walking on glass on a path (grrrrr) and we needed to protect it; these are the only things that work! You can use them on their own or over a cohesive bandage. We have a large 6 month old English Springer Spaniel who’s about the size of a small English Springer Spaniel, and the Medium are a great fit. We bought an antiseptic spray (Veterycin) which I also highly recommend (tip: spray it directly into boot then slip on over paw). And to those who’ve complained that they don’t last...well, battle with useless boots instead. These are only about £1 each and they tend to last several walks; sometimes they break after one, but for the most part come back fully intact and really protect the foot so your dog can run around as normal and their foot will stay clean and dry. Brilliant invention!

Handy
These were recommended to me as a way of keeping a cut paw dry on a young active dog that I couldn't easily restrict to lead walks. Coming from abroad they didn't arrive until after the paw was healed,(I made do with plastic bags covered with gaffer tape), so is not until now, when she has had another cut paw, I can review them. I carry one with me with a basic dressing so that I am able to cover a paw as soon as it happens. Because her fur was wet with rain and where I had cleaned the wound the dressing got heavy and it fell off. However on subsequent walks over a dry dressing it did stay on and keep her foot dry. However, when I continued to use them over an "is almost healed but don't want her to catch it and rip it open again" stage, without any dressing underneath, her claws made pinholes where she was running about, and so some water did get through. But still served the purpose of her not catching it on anything. I also noticed how much less mud she brought in from the garden on that paw, so may take 4 with us to the holiday cottage when we go. Probably the best dog boots for staying on in the price range and certainly much easier to pop on than my plastic bag/gaffer tape method. Will buy again.

Bit difficult to get on at first but excellent once you get the hand of it. No more problems with road salt or icy paws. Means we can't use footpaths we've avoided while out walking in the past. Added to that; they stay on and our dog doesn't mind having them on.

Our 12 year old Australian Shepherd had surgery 3 days ago, before surgery he was already having a hard time on our wood and tile floors. Now it was horrible watching him struggle to get up with stitches and also on pain meds. I tried a pair of regular dog boots on him and they worked great with him and his traction issues, but they are heavier and more clunky. These Pawz are lighter on his feet and even while under the influence he has been walking around the house. They weren't hard to put on, I just stretched them and slipped them on much like I used to do when putting socks on my kids feet when they were little. Then I pulled them down a bit on the toe to give them a bit more room. They stay up and haven't turned sideways on his feet like boots have a habit of doing (even when on tight). I was feeling so guilty about making him have surgery after watching him. After seeing him walking around wearing these I'm feeling less stressed and I know he is too! I like that these are also waterproof and good for protecting feet on the hot pavement. I'm very glad I bought these for our dog, they work great and I will be replacing these with a new pack when they wear out.
