Easy Reader Women's 25 mm Expansion Band Watch

I had been looking for a watch for quite literally years. My eyesight has been rapidly diminishing as has my dexterity so I was looking for a watch that was easy to put on and read. I had ended up with digital but all had buckles that I found in a style I was happy to wear at 50. I read the reviews for this watch, it was reasonably priced and was for a small wrist, perfect. I put it in my basket, got distracted so when I went back a few weeks later it was to find the watch in the sales. I did not hesitate and have been more then delighted ever since. I had the added surprise of finding I could change the time myself and even better there was a night light that was easy for me to work. I'm in the process of major spinal operation with trapped nerves and strong medication affecting dexterity This watch has been a joy to wear, to look at and to operate. Highly recommend. Hat of to the designers you have really put all the right ingredients together. If you are looking for yourself, indulge. If you are considering as a present you will make someone very happy. To sum up even at full price it is worth every penny to have it in the sale is an added bonus. Have had the watch about a month now and remain as delighted as I was the first day I wore it. So easy to tell the time with the dark numbers and hands on the light background Have not once got the time wrong and it still looks great no scratches or other sign of damage and it has been dropped and been in the water. Highly recommend. Oh yes, I placed the order during the night and it actually arrived that same day, very Impressive and totally not expected Nothing but good surprises with this little gem

I've had to say a sad farewell to my old Timex, twenty five + years together, dozens of different coloured straps, many batteries but this time even a new one didn't wake it up properly. It feels mean to bury it so I'll stow it away for my family to dispose of later on. But no worries - here I am all set up, the next day even, with a sparkly new one, with a shiny but familiar face, that trusty little back light too ready to glow and reassure in the dark night, to amuse a child, sneakily check when it will be time to go home ... Others have mentioned the wrist strap, a new thing for me after leather ones. My wrist is 6" round and it fits me perfectly. There are instructions for making it smaller in the leaflet but I agree it is snug so measure your wrist first, perhaps it might stretch an inch or two more but could bite in after that. I think a jeweller would help with sizing and if all else fails you could go back to a leather strap as I am sure this bracelet one would come off in the right hands. However the bracelet strap has an added plus - gold goes well with everything! There is much to be said for simplicity, no one would want to put on reading glasses to see the time and for me, it's good to see the numbers, and now the date, a new feature, bright and clear on a white background. It is honestly as much and as good as I want or need in a watch so there - all said and done, another satisfied customer.

Wake up, Timex! This is a lovely watch and just what I wanted, but I didn't buy it last time round because of the issues with the length of bracelet highlighted in the reviews. Timex seem to be the only brand for which Argos are unable to adjust the length of bracelet. And I gather from reviews that many jewellers are also reluctant to help. The bracelet length is stated as .... 'women's normal'. Firstly, Timex should realise that there are a lot of women with a wide variety of wrist sizes who all think theirs is the normal. I thought my 15.5cm wrist was pretty normal until I read the reviews, measured my wrist, and realised that my wrist is on the thin side. In fact, a shade too thin for the bracelet of this watch. (I think I am the only reviewer to have made this complaint!). Having read that Timpsons may have the answer, I risked making the purchase, am delighted with the watch, but planning on a visit to our local Timpsons in the near future as the face of the watch face keeps slipping round to the underside of my wrist. Hopefully, removal of a couple of links isn't too difficult. Now, if my wrist had been the same size as my daughter's (which looks pretty slim to me, and is CERTAINLY not above average), or if it had been the same size as a large number of your reviewers, I would have been in a far greater predicament as links would have to be ADDED to the bracelet. Do Timpsons provide spare links???? So, Timex, you must be missing quite a few sales because of the issues with the length of bracelet. As I mentioned, this was the reason I didn't buy one when I needed a new watch a couple of years ago. Perhaps you could provide watches with 3 different bracelet sizes, e.g. slim, medium and large bracelets (giving actual measurements). If that is too complicated, do as other brands do, and provide instructions/tools plus spare links with each bracelet. Or simply make it easier for any reasonably handy person to change the bracelet themselves, bearing in mind that reducing the size is much easier than increasing it. But then again, perhaps Timex don't care.

I have 2 "dress" watches for going out and a cheaper for doing the housework. This watch is the replacement for my daily watch which broke a while ago. It is a far better watch with a clear face and also a second hand and a date. It has an expandable band which is easy to get on and feels very comfortable. It keeps time and looks good, very pleased with the purchase.

Loved the watch but disappointedly I had to return as the bracelet, as mentioned in other reviews, was too small for comfort. Also, as the watch is not delivered in an enclosed box the 'open' box was slightly damaged during delivery. Not a problem if bought for yourself but it would be if it was intended as a gift.

I used to be a regular customer of US Amazon and had 4 watches from Timex, this was a 2nd purchase. Loved everything about it but the out packing was so soft the the box inside was broken (it was a gift so I was embarrassed to pack it in that box). Watch stopped working after 2 months battery change dint help, and then suddenly after few days it started working again. But i love this watch.

I love the elastic band. But, the face is too small. I did not realise 25mm is so small. I am long sighted and needs to wear my glasses to read the time. It would have been better if the size is bigger with bigger font so that I do not have to wear glasses to read the time.

The watch is comfortable and timeless. My wife wanted something she could use daily and she loves it.
