Vertagear SL4000 Gaming Chair, Black/Red, Standard

I bought this chair mainly because I spend long hours gaming watching movies, working etc. basically spending time at my computer. I love the sleek design beautiful quality stiching and the chair feels really sturdy, I've been using it for about 2 years now and the whole thing is still performing as the day it came out of the box, the seat is incredibly well balanced, I had a friend tild it back all the way flat and sleep on it through the whole night, he's much heavier than me by the way and he had no complaints, it's probably impossible to flip over on this thing.Now the bad news, I am a slim tall guy about 11.5 stone and around 6.4 feet tall I have bad lower back pain pretty much all the time, perhaps it's my particular build that causes the issues, I'm not sure. The angle that backrest connects with the seat is almost as if curved pretty much forcing you to slouch a bit without the lumbar pillow and with it... It's way too much pressure on the back forcing you to bend out excessively, not comfortable for me personally at all, I kept channging it up but the least pain I get is pretty much when I just sit up straight not using the backrest at all whick really sucks because when you want to relax and lay way back , the head pillow is a pretty nice addition though I have to say.The sticking out curves on the sides of the seat force you to keep your legs almost closed together and as I mentioned I'm a pretty skinny dude so for fellas with bigger thighs it must be a nightmare considering it's PVC leather that doesn't ventilate much, and if it's a hot summer day... lets just say you might aswell be using the stool from your kitchen instead. (Might be nice for girls tho, but don't take me for granted)Last thing that comes to my mind is that the chair is a bit on the heavy side and I have a thin carpet in my room so rolling around on it requires some effort.That's about all, I'd probably give it a bit less than 3 stars but can't go too harsh considering the build is very good quality, and for all I know might suit people of different shapes.

Good quality and not overly difficult to put together. However the raised edges of the seat part force you to sit with your legs closer together than i like. Great for ladies and smaller gentlemen i presume. A flat base would appeal to a wider audience. It not as if you're going to fall out of it going round a corner in an F1 game.

Reçu aujourd'hui même (service rapide et re-direction de colis efficace suite à ma demande). Produit de très bonne facture. Le carton avait l'air ré-utilisé, mais le produit à l'intérieur était très bien protégé et sans aucun problème.Très bonne finition, j'apprécie d'avoir reçu la version V2, qui comprend une amélioration au niveau des attaches du dossier, beaucoup plus discrètes qu'auparavant. Je fais 1,84m pour 75 kg et le siège me convient très bien. Il est vrai que l'assise est un peu dure au début, mais on sent que c'est de la bonne qualité, qui restera dans le temps. J'ai utilisé la notice vidéo (à peine 15 minutes, un adulte et un enfant de 9 ans). On a juste un peu galéré pour bien enfoncer les roues et trouver les filetages des deux attaches du dossier. Juste un point, pas d'explications, ni dans la notice papier, ni dans la vidéo, sur l'énorme molette qui se situe sous le siège??? A priori c'est pour régler l'angle de l'assise mais pas évident de le confirmer.

Hace escasamente 15 dias que disfruto de esta silla pero se percibe desde el primer momento que el acolchado de esta silla es de mayor espesor, sobre todo en las zonas de relieve de la estructura metálica , trasmite una sensación de comodidad y solidez que no habia experimentado en otros productos de esta categoría, aunque puede ser un poco más cara, desde luego merece la pena.Como silla de gaming vs trabajo la recomendaría sin dudarlo.

The assembly of the chair is not hard. The instructions are clear so all you have to do is follow it. It looks really cool and it really completes my red/black setup. I just got the chair so this review might be too early to give, but right after putting the chair together, I just immediately used it and I have been sitting on it for about 8-9 hours (It's winter break. Don't judge me :c) and I didn't really feel anything that makes me super uncomfortable. You'll have to stand up every now and then though to give your bum a break since it's not the softest seat in the world.I bought this to replace the monobloc that I was using and of course this is leaps and bounds better! For reference, I am 5'10" 230 lbs and the size of this chair fits me perfectly. I have sat on a Maxnomic gaming chair and the quality between the two doesn't feel any different at all considering the one my friend has costed 35$ more.Update: After owning the chair for more than a year, my review and rating for this chair hasn't changed. I did break the plastic housing on the right side but that's just me being clumsy more than build quality imo.

I'm giving this chair 3 star review when honestly I'd give more like a 3.5 or 3.8 stars if I could. One thing that did upset me, but I'm not docking the chair review points for this is that the I had ordered the red and black chair as those are my 2 favorite colors and yet when I unboxed the chair I found that I had received a red only chair. Bums me out because having a red and black chair would have been cool, but the all black fits in with the majority of my computer equipment.I bought this chair for multiple reasons 1. I'm in IT so I sit at my computer for hours at work and then when I come home I do the same because I'm also currently going for another college degree. There was nothing "wrong with my current chair from HON, but it just didn't fit my body very well. there was no support where I needed it. I'm 5"6", 280 lbs and have Cerebral Palsy. I need to have a chair that would especially support my back. I've only had the chair for a few hours, but I can already tell it's give my back much more support. I honestly wasn't sure how I was going to like having a "gaming / raching" chair because I've been told thye don't alwasy fit people well. In my case it's great so far and I'm very happy with my chair except for a few things.First of all being 5'6", I have short legs. In this chair I have to have the chair all the way down to have my fit touch the floor. Which is fine most the time, but with I wanted to try and rock back in the chair I have to push off my toes to do so. I wish the chair just went a little lower. Some people have mentioned how the middle part of the front of the chair has caused them issues and for me it's not been an issue at all.I actually like how the chair kind of "hugs" against my as I feel like I'm supported better.Now my second issue is the lock on the chair that allows you to recline is loose. It's very easy for it to slip back from an unlocked position to locked. Not a big deal, but something that bugged me for this price point.My last issue was when putting the back on the seat. It took forever to try and get all 4 screws in in the chair and that was with having another person helping me. I wish a picture could be provided about how the holes would like up when assembling that portion.Overall I'm happy with this purchase I do kind of wish I went with the PL6000 as it's bigger than the SL4000, but since I'm working on losing weight the somewhat "snug" fit gives me more motivation to lose weight and I don't feel the extra cost would have been worth it. My biggest complaint overall is the chair not going lower.

Purchased this gaming chair for my son who is 6'2". Chair is ergonomic and extremely comfortable, helps his posture! Looks and feels great, setup/assembly is easy and hassle free.
