Rowenta BRUSH ACTIV CF9220 drying brush

This Rowenta rotating hot air styler looks and feels a quality product and although it is a bit more expensive than similar products it is worth the extra. The picture on Amazon doesn't really do it justice.It comes with two different diameter brushes with fairly soft bristles. I have thick, straight, shoulder length hair and the bristles are fine for me but may not be suitable for people with coarse hair. The brush has two heat settings, a cool air setting, left/right rotation and two rotation speeds. It is also ceramic and I have noticed that the amount of static electricity in my hair is much less than with my previous styler. It is however quite a bit heavier than my previous (non-rotating) styler.It comes fitted with a European plug and so an EU to UK adaptor is needed. There are several inexpensive adaptors available from Amazon but be aware that the plug on the Rowenta is round and so will not fit in the flat adaptors.

I love this brush and wish I could have bought one sooner than I did! It does wonders to my hair which is wavy and thin. It takes a bit of getting used to push the correct direction of the brush turning, however it is so worth it! The hair is quickly dried, volumised and straightened. Unlike the effect of a hair straightener, this looks more natural and waves will still form but in a neat and tidy way. I recommend the big brush for extra volume and the small brush for extra straightening. Every day is a good hair day now!

I have strutting, wavy hair and for years I was looking for the right hair routine products right for them. The only thing I needed left was something perfect for hair styling. For years I used hair straightener but I needed something that will not damage my hair anymore. I decided to buy this brush and I'm very happy with it. It's amazing. Using this brush makes my hair looks beautiful! I don't need to use anything else because this brush is seriously all I need :)!

I have shoulder length fine hair and the brush was way too big. The layers were flying up and thus it did not really style my hair to my satisfaction. Besides, it got static even though it was advertised to prevent this. Returned item.

I am very happy with the Rowenta Brush Activ CF9220 - bought the BaByliss brush before but the head was far too large for short hair but this one is ideal. Took a few weeks to arrive but as it came form Germany I expected that after reading another review before buying. Takes a little bit of practise but once you get the knack it puts in the lift at the roots that the hairdressers manage to do. :-)

Worked fine until 2 weeks ago. It does not turn on. Externally is in mint condition, not sure why it is not working and I do not plan on opening it as I know nothing of electric appliancies. Does not make any sounds, nor smells funny, just does not work. A shame I have wasted my money as I was enjoying it. Wish I could get an answer or a new one.

Researched this product thoroughly on Amazon as a birthday present for my wife, iconic German brand Rowenta, German seller, I will put up with the delay in delivery coming from Germany, and the premium pricing of German quality, knowing it will be typically over engineered German, unlike the run of the mill Chinese offerings at quarter of the price.Equally important to me by buying German I will not be lining the pockets of the barbaric, corrupt Chinese regime, choosing to support European workers, European industry and my own conscience in avoiding Chinese products like the plague.Having waited the extended delivery (missing my wifes Birthday)from Germany,chosen an iconic German brand (Rowenta) and paid top dollar (over £60)I was amazed to read MADE IN CHINA on the box! China is where cheap products are manufactured, to brand them with a "reputable" brand, not declare it's origins on Amazon, along with all the other details, witholding fundemental information on which to make decisions whether to buy or not,( I certainly would not have parted with the cash if I knew the truth), is misleading at least and dishonest at worst!Amazon has a reponsibility to describe products fully, truthfully and honestly, including their authentic origin.
