Great map
This is a huge map that I have on my wall. I got it originally to alongside a heritage test so I could pins on the map, but anyway it's really high quality. You could similarly probably use it to track down international serial killers and the like, should you be so inclined.

Very clear and accurate map with just the right level of detail
This is a beautifully clear map. It takes up a lot of wall space but then the world's a big place. There is a good amount of detail but it is not cluttered. It is laminated on both sides so seems tough. I used a pack of 12 poster stickers (3M Command) which easily cope with the weight.The edge of the map follows the dateline. One the right hand side you can see New Zealand and the island nations of Melanesia and Micronesia. On the left side of the map New Zealand reappears with Fiji, Wallis & Futuna, Tuvalu plus Polynesia and the rest of the Pacific Ocean.As far as accuracy goes, it is right up to date (as at March 2022). In Europe, Kosovo is identified. North Macedonia is there with its new name. Czech Republic is identified by its alternative official name of Czechia. In Africa, South Sudan is shown and the former Swaziland is labelled Eswatini.The display space is fully given over to the world map; thankfully there is no box showing the flag of every country.

Great reference map to have on the wall when bringing up children. Very educational and informative.Also appearance and colour has not deteriorated over the years.We mounted the map on plywood before hanging on wall.

Was kost die Welt?
Hi, ich bin Martin und nächstes Jahr werde ich während meines Sabbaticals eine kleine Reise um die Welt veranstalten.Für die bessere Übersicht und Planung habe ich mir diese Weltkarte bestellt.Packungsinhalt / FunktionsweiseDie Karte wird in einer großen Röhre geliefert, wie man es auch vom Posterversand kennt.Die Karte ist wirklich sehr groß und einlaminiert. Mein nicht wirklich in Erdkunde geschultes Auge sagt, dass die Welt korrekt abgebildet ist.Positives:Für mich hat die Karte einen großen Vorteil. Durch die Laminerung kann sie mit Markern beschrieben werden und das Geschriebene auch wieder leicht entfernt werden.Zudem ist sie dadurch reißbeständig.Verbesserungswürdig / Anmerkungen:Die Laminerung bewirkt, dass die Karte leicht Licht reflektiert und ggf. spiegelt. Mich stört das nicht, allerdings könnte dies bei Verwendung als Deko Objekt von Relevanz seinIch hoffe dieser kleine Erfahrungsbericht hat dir gefallen und bei deiner Kaufentscheidung geholfen. Ich würde mich sehr über einen Like der Rezension freuen, ist ja auch schnell gemacht :-).Bis dahin viel SpaßMartin
