Great buy, would highly recommend.
A brilliant set of headphones, these were precisely what I was after. They're really comfortable to wear and very lightweight yet they don't feel totally delicate, which is a bonus. [Update] I've had them for three years now and everything below is still true. Brilliant. The range away from the source is pretty great and I've only caught a little static when going about 20m away and into separate rooms in the house (I've had no reason to test the 100m claim). If there's ever any signal disturbance, you can readjust via the auto button and that usually does the job. The headphones are also good at keeping noise out and only obviously bleed noise if you turn them up ridiculously loud. They grant an immersive experience for watching films, tv shows and especially playing games and really help to enhance the experience; also true of listening to music. The volume adjustment is rather sensitive but even a modest setting gives you great sound which doesn't compromise on quality; I don't know why you'd need to ramp volume up all the way, but quality is great even when booming loud. A bonus to these headphones is that they also don't cancel out sound from the TV, so one person can wear the headphones while another watches the TV as normal; each can adjust their own volumes too. I did have to buy an adapter for my headphones since my "TV" is actually a monitor, so it only has an Audio In port. I managed to find a cheap adapter that's working perfectly so far, so there are ways around it if you encounter the same problem as me.

Bliss for my poor battered eardrums
I bought these for my father ( well let's face it, for my own sanity) whoose hearing is no longer what it was. While I wish to of course allow my father the dignity of living howsoever he chooses in the privacy of his own home, the neighbours were coming to find the volume of his television was impacting on their ability to enjoy the full range of Barry Whites impressive voacals for example, whilst father was watching match of the day. My father would assure us that it "wasn't turned up that high" but we found that 97 out of 100 was mayhap a tad on the higher side of the scale. These was wonderfully simple to plug in and use and father finds them comfortable to wear. They allow my mother to be in the same house as my father without damaging her hearing, and she can only hear the faintest of sounds from them when they are on my fathers head. They can be a little tricky to charge in the cradle and need a certain amount of repositioning and wiggling to make the green light come on. My mother assures me that after being married for 50 years she has the required skill and patience for that to be no real bother.

Good Headphones - Here's Some Usage Tips
Good stuff! Pretty happy I bought 'em. Here are some thoughts & tips: - For some reason the instructions I received with the headphones were for a different model. If you're confused as to why the instructions are asking you to put the batteries into the transmitter, despite the transmitter not being openable, then you probably have the same issue. The batteries go into the headphones themselves - there's a small button on the earmuff that has the on/off switch, and pressing it opens the battery compartment. - To set 'em up, plug the transmitter into the wall socket and into whatever device you're going to be using. Then put the batteries into the headphones. Play some audio from the device, switch the headphones on, and hit the 'autotune' button at the back of them. Boom, you're done. Rest the headphones in the transmitter to charge 'em (the light at the front will go green). - The sound quality is pretty good! There is a bit of fuzz if nothing is playing from them, but once audio is coming through it's pretty clear. If you do hear fuzz, try lowering the volume on the headphones down and turning the volume from your device up. That clears it out a bit. - I've only used it at home so far, with my PC and briefly with my phone. The headphones stay connected no matter where in my house I go, so that's not an issue at all. They switch off after a couple minutes of no sound being played. If you're having trouble reconnecting them, just put the volume up on your device, wait a little while to see if it connects automatically, and if it doesn't just press the 'autotune' button on the back of the headphones. Should fix it nice and quickly. I've not had any disconnection issues personally - they work just fine. - If you're headphones connect then suddenly disconnect every time you reconnect them, it means the batteries are nearly dead. Charge 'em. - Battery life is, errr, well I'm not sure. I've never really timed them. I've spent upwards of 12 hours using them, watching videos and being in Skype calls, and I've not ran the battery dry doing so. Just remember to charge them when you aren't using them. I put them in the charger when I go to bed, and a night's charge seems to be more than enough for the next day's use. I've only had the batteries die once, because I did an all nighter and didn't give them a chance to charge. Otherwise they're fine. Overall pretty good, honestly. Especially for the price. I'd recommend them.
