Yes, I bought a super light gauge set ... And it makes playing my acoustic a breeze. I can make bends, play way faster and finally enjoy the acoustic guitar. And that simply because I changed to the lightest strings. And the acoustic guitar now sounds brighter and more articulated then before. Love those strings, can only recommend.

THESE STRINGS ARE REALLY GOOD I always buy them and would always recommend good quality for a good price but always buy in bulk because you will save money

I'm use to higher gauge strings,thought i would try these out easy to bend, there ok jury still out but there by d'addario always use d'addario heavy gauge 12's,tone is totally different but will persevere with them

I have used D'addario strings since 1985 as they really work for me, the string tension is lower than on Fender own brand strings and this led me to enquire if they made 9's for acoustic guitar. The reason was I have a couple of them that I want to keep strung and the 9's are less load on the guitar than 10 gauge string sets. So the verdict is they sound good, with less strain on the guitar and maybe not quite as loud but the tradeoff is worth it.

Ich hab bislang immer 0.11er Saiten auf meine Jumbo aufgezogen und hatte dabei immer das Gefühl, von den Saiten in meinem Spielfluss gebremst zu werden. Mit diesen 09ern passiert mir das nicht. Da flutscht alles, wie ich es möchte. Macht wirklich mehr Spass. Und ohne, dass die Finger nach einer Weile anfangen zu schmerzen. Das eröffnet mehr Spielmöglichkeiten was die Feinheiten in der Betonung, Bending zB. , betrifft. Bin voll zufrieden. Auch mit dem Klang und der Lautstärke. Was diese diese Gitarre angeht, werd ich auf jeden Fall bei diesen Saiten bleiben.

These were meant as an experiment as I’ve never had strings this light before. As it stands, however, I don’t think I’ll go back to anything else because they feel and sounds fantastic.

Hace lo que promete, recomiendo checar bien como suenan y para que son antes de ponerselas a la guitarra. Son demasiado fáciles de colocar, a diferencia de otras cuerdas qué he comprado.
