hi can this product be used prior to cupping therapy and afterwards please?

From personal experience, I would advise not to use Horse Balm before or after cupping. When rubbed in very well, it provides intense heat which combined with cupping could cause significant discomfort/burning on the skin. People with lower pain/discomfort threshold might find it too much. Some people are very prone to bruising while cupping if there are tight knots in the muscle fibres that need relaxing and Horse Balm's intense heat definitely would not help the matter. For tired and stiff muscles I tend to use small amount of coconut oil when massaging Horse Balm into the affected area, it helps to slower the absorption of the balm into the skin, but I would stay away from cups. Yes you can. As long as you have no cuts or abrasions. Works well on most pain, I have it for arthritis also.

Does it help rugby players my son plays rugby and we have tried a few things i saw it on tik tok

Haven't tried it on myself yet just my horse and its good but it may not be strong enough for human muscular trauma. Try using an oil based rub with specific essential oils, I have Fibromyalgia and thats what I use, just google it or have a look on pinterest for some recipes
