Very efficient - but remove the plastic tape protector strip on the adapter!
Worked very well in playing all my VHS-C camcorder tapes, including a JVC tape that some info suggested wouldn’t be compatible. But a big word of warning - the cassette wouldn’t eject from my VHS player on the first time of use as the plastic flap which covers the tape was causing an obstruction and preventing the cassette mechanism from fully rising to the eject position. I had to manhandle the adapter out of my VHS player and then removed the plastic flap from the adapter. It ejected absolutely fine after that. I don’t know if my JVC VHS player was the issue, but the plastic flap is thicker than you find on actual VHS cassette tapes and this was enough to cause the obstruction.

Works as it’s supposed to but I was a bit miffed that the actual brand I had ordered was substituted for one £2 cheaper and I wasn’t told or given a refund.

Absolutely rubbish
Do not buy! Cheap and tacky! Put it into my VHS player, and it didn’t recognise the adapter, as it’s super light. And it got stuck in the VHS player, and now broke the recorder completely. So now I have to buy another vhs recorder... and amazon won’t reimburse me for the broken recorder that was damaged by their product! Absolute joke

Easy to use
Very good and easy to use. Possibly could benefit from a user manual. Most cassettes worked , however some didnt, possibly due to quality of cassette itself.

This works pretty well with my 30 year old VHS-C tapes. I have handled them/it carefully as once in a while the take-up side of the adaptor got stuck. The tapes literally haven't been played in 30 years so I don't know if it's the adaptors fault or the tapes but it wasn't a problem as I didn't let too much tape roll out. I ejected the adaptor from the player, fished the tape out of the player, and rolled it up into the C cassette. I took the tape out of the adaptor put it back in and it worked perfectly. I think it's a good product as long as you are careful.
