Konig Motorised VHS-C Compact Video Cassette Tape Adaptor Battery Operated Camcorder

Worked very well in playing all my VHS-C camcorder tapes, including a JVC tape that some info suggested wouldn’t be compatible. But a big word of warning - the cassette wouldn’t eject from my VHS player on the first time of use as the plastic flap which covers the tape was causing an obstruction and preventing the cassette mechanism from fully rising to the eject position. I had to manhandle the adapter out of my VHS player and then removed the plastic flap from the adapter. It ejected absolutely fine after that. I don’t know if my JVC VHS player was the issue, but the plastic flap is thicker than you find on actual VHS cassette tapes and this was enough to cause the obstruction.

Works as it’s supposed to but I was a bit miffed that the actual brand I had ordered was substituted for one £2 cheaper and I wasn’t told or given a refund.

Absolute garbage. Every tape I tried using in this device ended up getting stuck in the VCR. I had to remove the lid of the VCR in order to be able to retrieve the tapes. The tapes got damaged in the process. Somehow the device was not spooling the tapes correctly and the VCR couldn't function properly. I ended up buying a used Panasonic adapter from Ebay. There were considerable differences between the Panasonic adapter and this piece of rubbish. Needless to say, the Panasonic adapter worked perfectly.

This is a very well made product, nicely priced and simple to use.

Very good and easy to use. Possibly could benefit from a user manual. Most cassettes worked , however some didnt, possibly due to quality of cassette itself.

I found some camcorder tapes in my late Mother’s garage. They must have been 25 yrs old, but I was curious about their content. I bought the tape adapter, and it worked like a dream. Delighted to see footage of my family.

Works OK but a bit flimsy and sometimes catches the tape so you need to be careful with loading

Works like a charm, easy to use and arrived quickly. A bit expensive for what it is, but who can put a price on watching old home videos with the family. Great purchase. (just a note - it will not accommodate 8mm tapes).
