Silverline Soldering Tip Cleaning Ball & Base 60 x 60mm (281271)

This brass tip cleaner works really well to keep your soldering iron tips clean. It's affordable and doesn't damage your tips when cleaning.

Small compared to the other brass solder cleaners but the quality is pretty good, especially for the price you pay. Because of it being so small and light it tends to move around easily, but I have drilled a hole in the bottom and used a small screw to hold it to the bench. If you aren't willing to glue/screw it down then you'll be better with one that's a bit heavier, but if you're good with doing that it works fine. Would reccomend.

Works really well - much better than a sponge. Cleans solder from the tip and also lightly scrubs away oxidisation.

Exactly what it does. Cleans tip of your soldering iron. Very efficient at doing its job. Excellent product.

For the price I paid i could not go wrong. I was using a old sponge and so when i saw this as an add-on item, I though why not try it. After using a few times, I am glad i got it. It cleans the tips nicely and I use it to scrub the tip clean when there are clumps left on them. The base has tiny foam feet that help it sit and roughly stay in place, although it is really light. decent product for the price you pay. I would say that if you haven't tried one before, try it.

Really small, doesn't stay put when stuck to the table, and takes a fair bit of effort to clean a tip. Only good for removing excess
