Exceptional quality for the money
Like many reviewers I’ve been using the vibration plates at my gym at additional cost to my membership. I’d been thinking about getting my own for a while and when I stumbled on this Gadget: Fit Power Vibration Plate at a fantastic price, I just had to order. I ordered Monday afternoon and it arrived 48 hours later. It was easy to assemble - 30 minutes at most on my own. It probably took me more time to unpack and get it upstairs; I’m strong but found the base very heavy, so just go careful or get someone else to help you. For a home machine it’s very good quality. It’s quiet and, strangely, the whole thing moves on level 10. Up to 10 and beyond the support tube and handles really don’t move, on 10 it’s all over the place. I only ever used once a week, twice maximum, at the gym and never saw the amazing results others claim (although some of my gym chums have, but they used them most days) but my abs were always sore the next day. I’ve been using my Fit Power Vibration Plate twice a day; this is fourth day, so I can’t comment on the results; although I fancy my rear end looks more defined at the top of my thighs. However, everything feels tighter and after using it I get that nice ‘I’ve been exercising’ feeling. And this is the thing about having it at home; I can do a quick 10 minute workout before the gym in the morning and another quick 10 minutes to unwind after work. There are tons of exercises on the web and videos on You Tube if you need help. But please, just don’t stand on it; you do need to tense your muscles to target them and give them a workout. Otherwise you are just slightly raising your heart rate. The machine really came into its own after a back-breaking gardening and car washing session – I used on the lowest setting and ‘massaged’ all my aching limbs. Bliss! I could walk upright, with full movement and pain free, whereas I am usually a hunched up, pain racked mess for a few days after. If you are thinking of getting a vibration plate, you can’t go far wrong with the Gadget: Fit Power Vibration Plate.

Very happy with my purchase
I am a 20 year old female and I already exercise for a minimum of 20 minutes per day and I am petite in build, but when I first heard of vibration plates I wanted to buy one immediately. First of all, I thought the price was quire reasonable compared to others on the market, so that is the initial reason I went for it, as well as the good reviews it had received. The product itself was easy to set up and it is definitely an interesting sensation. I have only been using it for about two weeks, 20 minutes a day along with my regular exercise and plenty of water and my regular vitamin supplements and fruit intake and I have noticed that my upper thighs have become much more firm. Although I am quite healthy I have always found the upper most part of my thighs to be an area which I am self-conscious about, particularly since the rest of my leg, including the rest of my thighs but particularly my calves are very slim and quite toned. I have not yet noticed a reduction in the girth of my upper thighs but the fact that the py have firmed is a good sign and they will most likely be reduced in size with further usage. Overall, I feel great after my use of the machine everyday. It gives my legs a particularly good workout that I can feel for about 5 minutes after I stop using it. However, as with anything, the results are only as good as the work put in. I use this 6 days a week and there is never a minute where I stand in an upright position working no muscle groups. I always do an exercise in it, such as squats, lunges with my front leg on the plate, crunches, etc. and I always make sure to contract my muscles whilst doing so. So, in summary, this machine does what it is supposed to do, but will only be of use if a balanced diet and other forms of exerice are used in conjunction also.

excellent machine but ease into it
The machine itself was very easy to put together, the price alright and the perfomance excellent and silent. It also arriverd practically the next day! It is however really heavy and quite big. Hardly fit in our tiny flat. The reason I cut one star Is this: at first I kept using it every other day. My legs would get all red from the blood circulation and I really liked that -im no expert but i am pretty sure thats how cellulite melts away. But day in day out I noticed I would get tinnitus almost every day. Then one day i went on it and as soon as i came down all I coukd hear was white noise for like 5 minutes. I panicked and didnt get on it again. im not deaf or have any other symptoms since, my plan is now to ease into it tjis time because its a shame to have it just as a laundry airer

Get what you pay for
Seems ok. Has to be at highest setting to replicate lower setting at salon but good nonetheless for home use at a reasonable price. Handles could be a little higher to make use of sensors and they do not feel sturdy enough to hold onto as support for body weifght for some exercises. But like I said for the price it's not a bad wee machine

Absolutley Fantastic - highly reccomended
After using the power plates at my local sunbed shop and Gym , i was noseying on Amazon at the prices when this one came up which was on offer. My first reaction was OMG it looks nearly the same as the ones i had been using. I ordered the machine on the thursday apx 18:00 and to my suprise i was absolutley delighted it came on the Friday. My dad put the power plate machine together for me which took him apx 45 mins (bearing in mind he did stop for a couple of ciggy breaks lol), My dad told me it was soo easy to put together. I arrived home from work desperate to see what the machine was like and i was absolutly gobsmacked, the vibration plates is almost the same as the one i use in the sunbed shop (nb i was paying £30 a month). I could not wait to get on it!. This does exactly the same as the ones i had previously been on, The vibration plate also has the hand straps which clips to sides which you can use to exercise your arms while on it - added bonus!!! . You cant really see this on the picture, I have had to mention this as it doesnt state it in the description and you cant really see them in the picture, I was debating on this machine and another and nearly bought the other as it did show the hand/arm straps. The plates have 3 auto programmes - i have been using programme 2 which is used to lose weight etc. i currently have the machine in the corner of my bedroom - it doesnt take up much space and i find the 10 minute programmes soo convenient to use. I would definate reccomend this product, not only for the price but also for the quality !!!

Great product, great price.
You can't turn on a shopping channel these days without seeing a presentation for different types of this machine, mostly without support bars, and at greatly higher prices. They are all the rage, but I don't think you will find a better machine at the price. It is easy to set up, and you will find it to be a solid, well made piece of machinery. I have read reviews of other machines where a source of complaint has been the noise levels. This is very quiet, probably on a par with a dishwasher. I use it upstairs on parquet flooring and it cannot be heard in any other room in the house. An excellent product which works very well, at a very competitive price. Don't hesitate if you want one.

Good sturdy machine.
Arrived very quickly. Good price very sturdy machine. My son put it together in less than an hour. Various programs. Used it for 10 mins the first couple of days on the program intensity 10 building up to 40 then back down again to 10 just standing up straight on it. I had not been doing any exercise at all previously. Found that my back was very sore, I did have a back operation about 10 years ago and now and again my back would be sore so had to stop using it for a few days then went on it for 10 mins staying on the slow speed 10 with my knees bent this has helped. Am determined to try and keep using it and will build the speed up gradually as I think along with watching my eating it will help tone up my bum and top of my legs as you can feel it working on these areas. Would recommend this machine.

A great product
When I bought mine there was only the one vibration plate that was cheaper and a whole lot were more expensive.. **Whats in the box** Instruction manual- how to build :P. I found this a little confusing as parts of mine was build when the instructions indicated that they shouldn't have been. The instructions are also on the amazon website to download. booklet about the product - what a vibration plate is, how to use , some exercises the product! The box does say on the side that the product is heavy and should be lifted by 2 people.... the delivery man for mine bumped it up the stairs by himself but thankfully it wasn't damaged Whilst it takes up surprisingly little space I would recommend not having it against the wall because with the vibration the back does move and you don't want it banging off your wall. Apart from the slight confusion where I had bits of the product assembled when they shouldn't have been which was probably the seller I bought it from ,this was easy to build. When attaching the top part of the machine it did take two of us - one to hold in place , one to screw it in. **What could be better** It would have made a nice touch if the product had maybe came with a a3 poster with exercises- something to stick on your wall that's easier to follow than a a5 booklet. A few of the exercises involve working with your back to the machine or lower down - the on/off button is at the top and you cant reach it when doing the exercises . Ive seen other models that have it on the base and the top which makes it easier in use. Sound - not overly loud but when the higher settings are on I would say its more like the sound of a washing machine. **In use** You don't need to wear trainers but I recommend wearing something as it is more comfortable. This should only be used for up to 10 minutes at a time for up to 4 times a day - you shouldn't use It more as it can cause problems in the back of your knees. Reading online there are different views on how long to use this for but none seem to recommend over the 40/50 minutes. The machine doesn't oscilate it just vibrates. The silver handles on each side monitor your heart rate. This also comes with resistance bands. I haven't had mine for that long (about a month) and I haven't noticed a big rise in my electric bill. Its a weird statement but people have asked about the rise in bills. There are a lot of different exercises that can be done on this from squats, lunges, planks, sit ups A lot of the exercise I do concentrates on working the lower body as i feel that's my problem area but things like sit ups will help with the upper area. For most of the exercise you would perform it in the same way as you would normally. I cant give a number for exact calories burned as it depends on what you use the machine for /everybody's different . The figure i got for just standing on it was 5minutes =15 calories **I love this** This seems to be helping me . Its expensive but for me its a lot cheaper than a gym membership. Some of the exercise positions are designed to help back pains etc. i have lost over a stone since i started using this but i am also following a fairly healthy eating plan and i also have a cross trainer. A great machine if anyone has any questions just ask
