Prem-I-Air Tower Fan with 3-Speed Settings, Push Button Controls, a 2 Hour Timer and Oscillation Function

One of the based screws was too short to bind. Thought I’d contact Prem-I-air to see if they could send me replacements. Having called them twice (long waits to speak to someone on the phone) - each time I was promised call back same day but nothing. As the base comes in two parts, it needs the two screw (they are not ordinary screw either) it would have made the fan unstable and potentially dangerous (it was bought for an elderly person) - effectively as defective goods.So getting nowhere with it, had to return it because was getting bored with chasing.If you need to return anything to Netagon Ltd - be warned the return label from Amazon need more detail on it otherwise the post office won’t accept it - mine didn’t initially. This is a know problem so I am perplexed why a note doesn’t appear on the label or note - simple to sort I would have thought.Had bought two and the other one is fine and working. So a real shame with the hassle, despite trying resolve by getting base screw sent to me - far cheaper option, alas probably on my planet only.UPDATE 08 Sept - Although the value of the of the product has been refunded, Netagon Ltd have not refunded the cost of the postage for the return of this defective product!! It clearly stated that if the product was defective then the postage will be refunded.

Bought one of these about 3 years ago and it's still going strong and still quiet. Have bought a couple others in that time and even though they cost more, they turned out to be "less than ideal". Either got really loud or just didn't put out much air after a month or so. Have a few of these now for different rooms and if I needed another fan tomorrow, I'd buy this one again.

Although delivery of this signalled the end of a mini-heatwave (typically), it is a decent piece of kit. The packaging was a little battered but no damage to the fan. Assembly took less than five minutes. Decent power and you can feel the benefit straight away. It isn't silent but much quieter than traditional fans. Instructions for assembly weren't particularly clear so it loses a star but would recommend.

shipped quite quickly which in the days of heat in the uk was something not really achieved by many.came with slight problems in the plastic and it does a bit of noise when rotating that could probably be solved with a bit more attention on the production line.but having said that, it does the job, you can watch tv or read a book with it on and you won't even be aware of the noise and on the very hot days I'll bet you you won't mind the slight noise even while you're sleeping

I hate noisy fans. This one however gives a quiet, constant airflow with no hums or whines. Bought another desktop fan whch was marketed as " 25% quieter than standard fans " - and this tower fan was quieter than it. Pleased with the purchase.

This was not initially my first choice, but when I ordered there was a lack of tower fans available due to the really hot spell. However, really love this cooling rotary fan, and definitely "does what it says on the tin". It is very quiet and blows out cool air (not just the warm air in the room),and you can have the fan rotating or static. Haven't tried the timer yet, but so far very impressed

Light and easy to carry around the house, perfect in the warmer months especially at night in the bedroom, effective and quiet.

Aside from being larger than expected, this cooling tower has been a very good purchase for the hot weather over summer. The best feature is the up to 2-hour timer, which switches the unit off after you've managed to fall asleep. It's not as noisy as traditional fans either.
