The container looksgood on dressing table.Neat, compact and attractive. It holds 20 Rollers comprising of 8jumbo, 6 large and 6 medium Rollers, which is more than enough for most needs. It also includes10 super clips & 20 metal pins, for securing rollers, with a nifty storage area for safe keeping. I haven't used heated rollers since they were last in fashion..about 50 years ago! And it was only a try! I was, therefore slightly nervous re using them,with a fear of burning my head or my neck and also fearing I might burn my fingers! The warnings on the instructions only made me more fearful of using & was thinking of sending them back! I'd bought them as was going away for a long weekend and just needed to add bounce to my hair in morning, without needing to wash & blow dry. My daughter suggested these, and was horrified that I was thinking of sending back without trying. She read the full instructions to me, advising re stay cool roller rims,2 heat settings,heat ready indicator & 5 minutes ultra fast heat up. I tried them there and then& was amazed at how easy they were to use. I ensured I used heat protection spray before use and only used the ones needed for my short chin length bob. Ie top &sides. Left in for about 12 minutes then unrolled, brushed through and voilà..all done! Brilliant and exactly what I wanted them for.

Bought 2 of these really good

I have fine straight hair and need heated rollers to get any sort of style. I've grown my hair much much longer and needed more large rollers to go with the large rollers in my Carmens. I've used Carmen for over 40 years been everywhere with me! Bought up second hand ones when the original ones were stopped being made as found their replacement inferior. I've even tried another make but no good. Because of the reviews by others who have used Carmens I decided to give these a try. Well, have to say I'm very pleased with this purchase and only needed to use this one set. They seemed much hotter too, drying out the mousse I use with them much quicker. Would definitely recommend them. The box is lighter and smaller too than my old ones so would travel well. If you want thicker looking more manageable hair these are a must.

Just a change from straightening . Easy to use

I have only given this three stars as although there are some pluses, there are also a few minuses! Firstly it does heat up very quickly and efficiently and the rollers are nice and lightweight and give good results. Also it is good to have three different sizes of roller, which many sets now do not have. However the metal pins are impossible to use (and I have used all sorts of heated rollers for over 30 years) so the only choice is to use the black plastic clips which are OK but difficult to put in if the rollers are too close together (luckily I have some old, straight metal pins from another roller set that I can use). Also the lid opens in three stages so you can't just push the lid and expect it to open fully, so it's a bit annoying if are in a rush. Also the whole thing is a bit unstable if knocked and it has fallen over a few times. My previous roller sets were much more stable. I bought this set as a replacement for a set where the rollers were covered with a black velours finish. When pieces of this velour fell off the rollers after less than a year my fingers got burnt in contact with the roller underneath - very dangerous - which is why I went back to buying simple ceramic rollers.

These heated rollers are excellent.. I have just purchased a spare, electrical goods do have a life limit, not that my initial purchase has reached that stage! So its a 'Just in Case' purchase
