You need to be reasonably skilful with sharp blades and sandpaper but if you don’t have an old bridge to copy this is useful. You do need to work with some precision and care when marking etc. if you have any doubts about your ability either get a luthier to do it or practice cutting on some cheap bridge blanks first before working on an expensive one.
