Killed hazel trees when used late Autumn
Three years ago I used two bottles to kill a line of 6 unruly hazel trees . Hazels grow suckers from the bottom and produce masses of small trunks . I did it in November, the time if year the sap starts to go back into the roots, taking the poison with it I hoped. First we cut the trees down to waist height exposing freshly cut cross sections of branches. These were painted with the neat solution as we went. The trees die down in Winter anyway so it was not noticeable how much was natural and how much was due to the glysophate. The following Spring showed no sign of regrowth apart from just in one area which was struggling to produce new shoots. By the following year most of the branches were dried up and easily removed but there were patches of regrowth on about three out of the six trees treated. I am going to treat these again in November . I was happy with the result and would recommend the product for use in Late Autumn .

2 years later tree stumps not rotted
I gave this a go 2 years back. Poured it neat into drilled holes of some conifer stumps that are 6 inches high. 2 years later the stumps & roots have not rotted. This time round i have been using it for brambles. It has worked this time. If you are thinking of killing tree roots with this. Think again.

Does the job
I had a horrible plant root that I needed to remove but was not able to do it with brute force. The root is next to my pond and I have a cat so needed something that was aquatic and animal friendly, which this was. In fact it was the only one that I could find without paying a fortune. I had to give the root 4 applications which was not ideal, whether It was a tough root or it wasn't for plant roots (it states for trees) I'm not sure but it eventually did the job. Very pleased that my root is no more. I advise you read carefully but I would recommend and it was a good price and great delivery time. Thank you

RoundUp and Japanese Knotweed
This is the second year I have purchased RoundUp for particular use in clearing a patch of Japanese Knotweed (roughly circular in shape of about 10 metre diameter). Following the directions given I gave the patch three applications spread over about a 3 month period by use of a sprayer. At first there appeared to be little reaction but after three weeks the knotweed began to wilt then shrivel and die back. At the conclusion of the seasons's application the knotweed was severly reduced in density. This year as expected it has returned but only about 10% of what it was originally. A fresh purchase of the weed killer again applied three times looks likely to see it off altogether. The prospect of getting rid of a large patch of well-established knotweed appeared daunting but from my experience RoundUp can be highly recommnded.
