Absolutely amazing!
I really should have written a review of these speakers before now... So sorry to Oontz, they deserved a good review years ago. I bought two of these in 2022 and have used them countless times since. They pair easily and work with separate volumes (if you wish) to suit different environments. I have used them out in the open around campfires and in rooms in the house where we didn't have hifi set up. Most recently I have them on my balcony where the acoustics seem to suit them really well. The batteries last for ages and most importantly the sound... oh my! Bass response is of course limited due to the size of the diaphragm of the speakers but it is admiral considering the same restriction. The clarity is superb throughout the mid and high range and the speakers have a miraculous ability to project the sound as if they were much bigger units. Two paired together creates a wonderful stereo environment wherever you are with no lag or discordant effect. For the money you will be impressed, there is no doubt about that. After as many years of faultless service as I have had you will be, as I am, in awe. They just seem to sound better every time I get them out and to be clear, I set them on full volume and can only turn the phone output to half before they are too loud to talk over. They are very powerful, though sound clarity is reduced at max volume as with ALL systems. They feel rugged, have definitely endured light rain and morning fog without trouble and continue to impress three years on. Really excellent Bluetooth speakers.

Pretty good value for money
Purchased for £19.99 and primarily for playback of music and podcasts in a small office. This is a very neat and compact unit with easily accessible buttons and covered USB slot. It's too early to comment on charge longevity, but I'll update this if I have any issues. As expected with a 10w speaker, it's capable of reproducing sound at high volume without loss of quality, and even though I don't generally have it loud, it passed that test. As expected, the sound quality of the Angle 3 is an improvement on my Surface Pro speaker (which actually isn't bad for a tiny built in speaker), though you're generally just getting a bit more body and volume. It's really worth trying it on different surfaces as it can make a big difference to the sound quality. In the first few days of use, I have occasionally had a poor Bluetooth connection when switching it on, resulting in the sound breaking up. Each time though, switching the speaker off and back on has resolved the issue. I didn't really get this for portability, but it's an obvious advantage to be able to port whatever I'm listening to around the house uninterrupted. I haven't really tested the range, but again, I'll update this if I encounter any issues. I think for it's simplicity and power, it's pretty good value for money and I'm very pleased with it.

Powerful little thing but bass not great
This speaker is small but has amazing power. I charged it and turned it on, not realising my laptop volume was right up. It near blew me off my chair and there was no distortion. I'd totally recommend it for taking camping, the garden, or even as a car speaker if you don't have a bluetooth stereo fitted, but for what I wanted it for (to fill a workshop with sound) there just is no bass or depth - if you want that then you need something bigger with a subwoofer. The sound and bass quality differs depending on your surroundings. On my desk playing ambient chill music it's a nice rich sound, but in my car sitting on the passenger seat it's not as rich with not much bass. It's still good enough for me though as my actual car stereo is knackered!

Exceeded my expectations
Love it when I get a product that exceeds my expectations. I needed a little speaker for my desk at work on the night shift. Didn't need to blow the roof off with loudness. Just to do the job. Tried others, but the sound was a little too quiet. This speaker is unexpectedly loud (if you require that) even has bass. Great sound quality and even has a cool simple design that looks good. For such a compact speaker I'm impressed. Battery/charge life I keep mine plugged in usually so I may not be the best review to give you an accurate reading on this. But I've had it out for several hours, over three. Pretty loud and have not run out of charge. Great product. Very happy.

Great speaker at the discounted price but not for the full price
I’ve yet to see this on sale at the RRP of £99.99. I paid £24.99 for it, and I think the sound quality is great. I bought it for a couple of reasons. 1st for when I do presentations on my MacBook Pro to small groups. I wanted some better than just relying on the internal speaks of my laptop for any audio content. 2nd, when I go away, I want to pair my phone to listen to music whilst I sit the the hotel bedroom. Positives: for the price I paid, the sound quality is very good. Dynamic enough for my wide musical tastes (EDM, rock, pop, classical), and also for spoken word for my presentation. Battery life is good. Easy to recharge. Splashproof/showerproof for in a shower (although I’ve yet to try that). No problem connecting via Bluetooth on all my devices both Apple bases and PC. Negative: minor as it is, it doesn’t fill a big room like Sonos does, but then, it’s a quarter of the price of Sonos. I would have written a 3 star if I’d paid the RRP

Update - I have owned this speaker for two years now. It still sounds great. I am still amazed at the sound that comes from this compact speaker. If you are wondering if the reviews are to good to be true STOP WORRYING and buy this speaker before Cambridge SoundWorks realizes they priced it too low. I was trying to find a new Bluetooth speaker for my wife as a birthday gift. The Logitec that we owned for several years just didn't sound like it used to. In addition to the Bluedio BS-3 I also purchased the Cabridge SoudWorks OontZ Angle 3, and the UE Roll (1st Generation). If you are wondering, the Cambridge SoundWorks had the best sound in my opinion regardless of price. When we received all three speakers my wife insisted I participate in a blind listening test. I am a cheap skate and she was convinced I would favor the cheaper speaker (she did not know the prices when we listened to them). We found an article online with song recommendations for testing speakers and headphones. We listened to Caribbean Blue by Enya (not a fan but a good song to test the speakers), Brass Monkey by Beasty Boys, and Unfinished Sympathy by Massive Attack. I also added Falling Slowly from the Once soundtrack as it has good female and male vocals in the same song, as well as acoustic guitar. Results Bluedio BS-3 - This speaker was easily identified as the 3rd Place speaker. While it sounded fine there was not a single song I listened to where it stood out. The one area where I felt this speaker excelled was in volume. You could leave this speaker on the kitchen counter and hear it clearly in the living room 30 feet away. The only negative was a constant soft static sound in the back ground. If I had not been comparing side by side I might not have noticed it. Had this speaker been less expensive than the Cambridge SoundWorks OontZ Angel 3 I might have considered it. UE Roll (1st Generation) - The UE Roll was a very good speaker and definitely a good value at $67. My wife and I did not share our opinions with each other as we progressed through the listening test. The amazing thing was that we both had identical thoughts about all three speakers. Our first impression was that the UE Roll had the best sound. However when we narrowed it down to the a head to head contest with the Oonz Angle 3 we realized it had very different sound from the other speakers. The only way I can describe it is that the Roll sounds like it is under a thin lid. There is a slightly muffled echo aspect to the sound. The more I listened, the more I noticed, and I did not like it. Again had I purchased this speaker on its own I would have liked it just fine. It is also possible mine was a one off for UE. Cambridge SoundWorks Oontz Angle 3 - When I told my wife that this speaker was only $30 she didn't believe me.Seriously how is this speaker $30!!! She has a Bose speaker in her office at work. This speaker is no where near as good as the Bose, but my wife appreciates good sound. The Oontz Angle 3 sounds great. The funny thing is that I almost eliminated it from consideration listening to Brass Monkey because I thought it had a harsh sound to it. I later realized that it was just the jarring differences of the UE Roll. The Roll's slightly muffled sound made the Angle 3 sound harsh in comparison. If you are looking for a Bluetooth speaker under $100 the Cambridge SoundWorks Oontz Angle 3 is a great choice. The best part is that it is only $30!!!

I was always a fan boy of Cambridge Soundworks and I blindly took a chance at buying this speaker. I was reluctant initially but looking at the disastrous experiences I had with cheaper bluetooth speakers, I just went by my gut feeling. And I wasn't disappointed; rather I was blown away by the overall clean sounds this little well-bodied gadget produced. It produces an overall full bodied sound that is loud enough, easy on ears and sounds delightful even for an audiophile. PROS: 1-Clean and clear sounding with almost negligible distortion at the top volume. Amazing mids & highs. If you are an audiophile, you'd definitely appreciate this (Guess almost everything that comes out of Cambridge Soundworks). 2-Brilliant battery life - Just after unpacking, I played it for more than a day, on & off, without even charging. Just charge and forget it; it lasts. I could even figure out battery levels on my iPhone, which I feel is awesome. 3-Bluetooth pairing - It is easy breezy & never gives up. It's simple & automatically re-pairs without any issues. 3-Angular design - It can be placed horizontally and vertically anywhere. Easy to switch ON/OFF as well. The materials used are of great quality and doesn't feel tacky at all. Looks elegant and doesn't interfere in the aesthetics of the interiors as well. No flashy lights makes it clean-minimal design. CONS: 1-The bass isn't great but is definitely clean. Anyway, I've not come across any mini speaker with great bass (in my limited exposure). So personally, not asking for something big in this range. 2-It's a tad expensive in spec-to-spec comparisons (thanks to the import duties), but considering the sounds it produces, it's forgivable in the long run. Overall, I am sorta satisfied with this little brilliant performer. I hope it keeps delighting me for a very long time.
