This is a good system for my garden

Good, but...
I've had this a while, Its a good system and works well, but the fact that Amazon bundles it with a 25m hose highlights the main issue for, I suspect, many people- The supplied 10m hose is just not long enough; by the time you have routed your hose from the tap to where you need it you have lost a good fraction of the length, but of course few of us will want 35m total. It would be great if it came with a longer hose, maybe 15m or so, Or if you could buy a shorter length 'extra'.

Works on a huge garden!!
Ok so I have a huge garden with long borders over brimming with mature shrubs and everything in between. I also have multiple large vegetable patches. I also have diabolical water pressure!I purchased 12 of these items and a few reels of hose lock supply hose.I have a single garden tap. From this point I have one 150m run going left watering this entire side of my garden. Going right I have another run that hits the right side of my garden which is about a 200m run that encompasses my rose garden that is elevated 10m and my vegetable patch along with more borders. Now when I say my water pressure is bad, it is bad. I purchased the hozelock turbo jet to boost my system and everything works flawlessly. The left run is fine. The right run is too long to water adequately even with the pump so between my rose garden and vegetable patch, about half way, I have split the pipe run. I simply plug and play the different runs at this half way point and everything is fine. All in all if you have a huge garden like mine do not despair. It used to take me 2 hours at time to water all of my borders. Now I simply turn my tap, 15 - 20 minutes then remove one pipe from the pump, push another in and everything is watered. The hozelock kit works excellently but make sure you only use their branded stuff, other makes will leak or not seal properly. The only fault is out of my 120+ drippers, 2 broke whilst installing. Might of been me being a brute or the product but considering everything works as intended I am happy.A lot of people say don’t do a run that is more then 40m, you can go further but you just need either a pump or adequate water pressure.

Not 10m2, most likely 10cm2
It works, but coverage is not great, water barely goes 20cm from the sprinkler. This looks like a dripping system, might work ok for flower pots

I wish I had done this years ago
I was very wary of buying an irrigation system as I initially thought it would be beyond me. I now wish I had done this years agoI wanted something to help the watering of 10 new trees. I was so impressed with how easy it was to install that I expanded my plans and I bought a further 20 dippers, 60m of the flexi hose and a few other accessories to encompass 16 rose bushes and a number of honeysuckle and jasmine bushes. It is great set up.... literally takes just a few minutes. You do though need to develop the “knack” to lock in the drippers in place but other than that it is so quick. Also make sure you think about which direction you want the dippers to tilt. Very happy indeed. The Hozelock products connect so well and so flexible. Very very impressed

Not as good as their old system.
I've always bought Hozelock products before and was very happy with the irrigation system I had at my previous house which worked well straight out of the box and for many years. The thicker hose and new "universal drippers" supplied in this kit do not work nearly as well. I broke one when tightening the collar onto the thread and had to make several attempts at installing a couple of the others before the internal spike would penetrate sufficiently far into the main hose to allow water to flow up the spike into the dripper. Several times the spike just deformed the wall of the hose instead of penetrating through it with the result that the hose wall blocked the hole in the spike through which the water should flow.Needless to say I shan't be buying any more of this system. Very disappointed.

Great concept, easy installation but only for mains tap water.
What a great product, but they’ve really missed the potential in a big way, especially with sustainability and water conservation being so important. I’ll explain....the product is designed in such a way that it needs mains pressure to work; I was really hoping that my quite powerful pump that sits in my water but would be able to supply this great kit with the water, sadly, the way it’s designed is that all the holes/pipe spikes that let the water through to the sprinkler heads are just too small to use with anything but high pressure. This is definitely a great concept which you can use with your mains tap and an additional watering timer, however, please will home lock now design the same great product to work with a water butt pump as it is really annoying that I have all that rainwater sitting there and have to use the mains water when I go away and I just cannot use it day in day out as I can’t bring myself not to use the rainwater.

Not brilliant
Similar to others, I found that the coverage from each sprinkler varies from nothing to about 40cm diameter. Definitely not a metre. My hose is only 15m with 10 sprinklers and good water pressure.I also found 2-3 sprinklers just don't work. Someone else mentioned the spike that punctures the hose seems to push some of the removed material into the water feed hole and reduces the uptake of water. I imagine that's what has happened to me.Better than not having any system at all, but I'm a little disappointed.
