This is the second SteelSeries gaming mouse pad I have bought for my husband, the difference between this one and his last on we got a year ago is the thickness, while this was still a very good mouse pad the (SteelSeries QcK+) the only downside to this mouse pad was how thin it was and you could feel underneath, so if there was a small little something trapped underneath you would be able to feel that, and in games like CSgo you need a smooth and gliding base to be able to move aim and shoot. So I decided for Christmas I would buy my husband an upgrade to the SteelSeries QcK Heavy, Thick Gaming Mouse Pad, 450mm x 400mm, Cloth, Rubber Base, Laser & Optical Mouse Compatible in Black, He was so happy and loves his new mat. One thing I will mention is that you will need to calibrate your mouse to work with the mat for optimum performance. Overall this is a fantastic mouse pad and well worth the twenty quid spent, It looks and feels great and glides around the mat very smoothly, it also works really great with my husbands Logitech mouse G502 :) Happy Gaming!

//Why I Bought It? I bought the SteelSeries QcK Heavy Mousemat because I needed a large mousemat to accomodate for my large mouse movements as I am a low-sensitivity gamer. The main game I play is CSGO, which means I need a mousepad which is consistant in the way it feels. //Testing... I first unboxed it and layed it out on my desk and played with it for about 1 month. In that time I decided to orientate it portrait as that fitted best with my setup. In my setup I have a Deathadder Chroma and a Cooler Master Bungee positioned about 15cm above the top of the mousepad. The cable then trails down along the mousepad. My setup isnt dusty but the odd cat-hair will get onto the mousepad. //Conclusion... I managed to conclude many things from this review. I can tell you that this is one massive mousepad, so if you are willing to give up about 1/6th of your desk for this, then go for it. But which mousepad you get is up to you. It's personal preference. All I can say is that the tracking is consistant and the running is smooth. Those are the only facts here. The rest you will have to decide for yourself to find what is your favourite setup.

This is the most superior mousepad to ever exist. I've been using QcK Heavy's for roughly 8 years now and I've never had a problem, even with drink spillage! Mousepad has a lovely smooth feel to it, but not too smooth so you still have that very slight friction for precise hand movements. Works well as a browsing/work mousepad as well as a gaming mousepad. Very easy to clean - simply soak in some warm non-scented soapy water, and gently brush/rub the dirt out. Leave to hang-dry for 2ish days, preferably in your boiler room or if you're like me, your balcony, and then it dries over night! Only thing I could possibly comment on is the edges do frill-up quite easily. If you were blind, you wouldn't even notice! That's how much of a non-nuisance it is.

As a gamer who prioritises csgo when it comes to choosing peripherals, this mousepad is a high recommendation. The size of the mousepad is perfect. As it is large it allows me to have my low sensitivity with enough space for movement. The quality of it is great and I expect it to last a long time. The only issues I had were comfort, the depth is quite large which takes time to get use to, as you arm would come of the edge and onto your desk. However I have a small amount coming off the edge of my desk so that isn't a issue for me. Also internally in the mousepad there seems to be these bumps which are weird, I did get use to it but I am not sure if it is in every mousepad or was just my unit. However the mousepad is soft so is more comfortable than the desk itself. In terms of performance I dont have any complaints, no issues with tracking on default settings on my mouse and accurate as well.

My 'go to' mouse mat for a number of years now. Great control for FPS aiming, sturdy and robust. Only negatives, they come rolled up so getting them flat takes a little time. The edges are not braided, the bottom edge does start to come loose after months of heavy use.

Very good mouse pad. The mouse glides on it like butter. It's not too big, easy to carry. The only downside is that you stick to it all the dust and dirt. A big advantage is the ease of cleaning the pad. It works great in CS:GO. I recommend!

Brilliant thick matt if you don't like the matt going over the whole table.

I actually enjoy the mousepad a lot it’s just a shame it took me days to straighten it out, I tried weights and heat and the thing still wouldn’t flatten.

I mean,the size is just massive and it's just my type! You can just flickshot in your games (CsGo) without running out of space! But the thing is it gets dirty easily. I don't knoe if its my environment but yeah..overall its a great mousepad. Also I wished it had ribbed corners.

Great performance in CS2, wish it was cheaper or more easy to clean though.
