I have bought a similar solar charger before and was so impressed that I decided to buy another one. This one is a slightly different type to the one I have purchased before. This particular model has a fairly large solar panel on the front. It covers the entire front of the device. This is great because it maximises the amount of sunlight that it can achieve, allowing for a quicker charging time. The battery has a very large capacity of 15000mAh, enough for a few complete iPhone charges.The solar function works very well. Even the slightest bit of light that it receives, it will start charging. Solar charging times vary depending on the suns intensity. Obviously, by putting this device in the sun, it is expected to get hot. However, the manufacture has well protected the device to prevent any overheating issues. Solar charging isn’t the only way to charge this portable charger. It can also be charged up using the usual DC micro USB cable (which is provided). It has two USB output ports, one rated at 1A and one at 2A. Makes it great being able to charge two devices at once from this large capacity solar charger.It looks well-built and is made of good materials. It has a 4 stage LED indicator on the front so you can, at any time, check the charge level of the device. This is a feature found on most portable chargers. A bonus with this charger is the inbuilt LED flashlight. It is very bright and illuminates any space. It is a good size and will easily fit anywhere.The product comes presented well in a cardboard box. Included is the solar charger, a micro USB cable, instruction manuals and a clip. It arrived next day through Amazon Prime. I am very impressed and can see it getting many uses, considering it also has over 1000 recharge cycles!

Great to have this when your away from any power and are out in the sun as this powerbank has the feature to charge the battery by solar. I have used a few power banks in the past however this powerbank stood out the most with its massive capacity and LED light panel at the back. I tested this on my S6 which charged 50% in 35 mins which is much faster than the other products thanks to its smart technology. The design is modern as well though it does have rubber protection on sides.This powerbank has a number of different safety features which cheap powerbanks leave out, this powerbank has surge protection, high temperature protection, over-charging, short circuit protection and over current protection. These safety features are important to have on a lithium battery since lithium batteries can be very dangerous and even explode if a fault occurs but these safety features prevent that from happening.

As a very outdoorsy kind of guy who likes to stay in touch with the world whilst being away from it I often suffer the same pain as most other technophobes and run agonisingly low on phone/ Garmin charge just as I'm about to get towards the business end of a long ride or approach the top of a long approached mountain summit. With this in mind I was keen to keep a back up that I could carry without weighing me down too much. I appreciate that there are some smallish power banks out there but the ones that I have tried in the past are either under performing or over weight. Also, when you're camping for a few days a chargeable power bank has it's limits. The solar charger from JINXJ has been a great compromise. Not overly big, about the size and shape of a large mobile phone, and definitely a lot lighter than the size would indicate carrying this device doesn't add many pounds to your riding/ walking/ running weight. Nicely finished off in black plastic material it certainly looks the part.Whilst one of the larger sides is cover with the P V cells the opposite side contains a very useful LED flash light that is operated by use of the single power/ function button. Not just on/ off but several levels of brightness and a flashing function. There are two USB output sockets to enable charging of two devices simultaneously and a mini USB port to allow mains charging, just in case the sun has got his hat on but isn't coming out to play. To give this device a good test I fully charged via mains then charged several phones and a couple of sports GPS devices. All charged fully in the timescales I would have expected. Enthused I searched the house to seek out further devices to charge which I did and eventually ran the charger down to no charge. Easy to test at this time of year, I simply left the solar charger in the garden ensuring that it was sheltered from pesky showers, but not direct sunlight. Came back to it a day later and again charged up my iphone taking the usual couple of hours to charge from empty to full. Can't grumble as it did everything I wanted as I expected. I'm not sure about waterproofing so I have been a little anal about protecting from rain which isn't a major issue. If you wanted to you could always carry round your neck/ rucksack via use of a water sports type cover. The attached lanyard and included connecting clip means that you can fit to your person and forget about it. Just be mindful of keeping in sunlight when positioning. It's early days and as with every battery powered device the battery ultimately packs in, time will tell on that score, but up to now I'm well impressed. It's nice when things do what you want them to.

Useful power bank to have it when you are away from any power supply, with good safety features (surge protection, high temperature protection, over-charging, short circuit protection and over-current protection).Useful LED light panel (torch light) providing a very good, bright light (adjustable), SOS mode might come handy in difficult situations and uses very little energy.I only used few times so far, but proved to work well, charging the phone quite quickly even while using it.Item arrived in time and well packaged. It would be a good idea to have the iPhone connection as well, as it's only have the android cable.I haven't use yet and don't expect much from the solar charger option, so can't really comment on charging in sunlight option as yet, but using USB on wall power outlet it charges reasonably quickly.Would recommend this product to anyone who is not fussy about the size.
