I don’t know about what it’s like near you, but my dollar store is no longer a dollar it’s $1.25 and tomorrow it might be $1.50. I bought this unsubscribe and save and it was a much better value. I use it for an eyelid cleanse every morning and it works beautifully. I have not had the slightest eye irritation from it or any allergic reaction.

It is very mild enough to not irritate the kids scalp and it softens their hair. It is better than the branded shampoos that my kids used. I order it again for my kids. Excellent value, my kids have very sensitive skin, I use this as well, I think it smells better then the more expensive name brand. Takes very little. Doesn't make our skin dry out. Rinses clean, hair is soft. Would highly recommend.

It smells nice, the way you expect baby shampoo to smell., if they made the scent stronger I would love it even more. I use it for myself when i want a gentle wash. Works also as a body wash, it lathers up but not overly so unless you use more. For babies this is good since you hardly need any, and too much suds hurts their eyes. My kids are grown and I don't think they had this back then when Amazon was selling mostly books but I would have used this. This may sound weird but if baby shampoo does not have a certain smell and consistency, it's not what I want , and even the bigger more 'famous' brands have changed theirs. So yeah, because of these other companies changing their products (and I complain about this in other reviews!) I will stick with this brand, and being as though they also sell it in packs of 4, I'm stocked for a while. Oh and it leaves my hair nice too! I have average fine , shoulder-length caucasian colored hair but I can't see any type of hair that this would harm, it would likely be just a matter of how much you want to use and how thick or long etc your hair is. It's more than just for babies!
