AUSTOR Hard Carrying Case for New 3DS XL Black/Blue, Blue

Been using for a couple weeks or so and as of yet it’s been a very solid, sturdy and seemingly well made quality case. Using with my “New” 3DS XL and has been doing the job great up to this point. Has felt very sturdy, secure, with the outer casing being very rugged, and the zip seems like it’s durable also. The cartridge storage flap and accessories compartment is a nice touch for little bits you need to store with your 3DS XL kit on the go. Obviously won’t fit the full bulky official 3DS chargers (not like they even make them anymore! They’re long out of production now) but there are some solid 3rd party options for USB chargers which you can plug into a mains adaptor or your cars socket for on the go charging which you can store/fit easily inside this case’s compartment. Just look up 3DS USB charger cables here on Amazon, there’s a couple solid cheap options, one of which I’ve found perfect to work with this case too which is a 2 pack has several colour options like blue/black/red. So as of yet, with this 3rd party hard shell carry case, I’ve found it perfect for my needs to keep my New 3DS XL safe and handy. Currently I fully recommend this case totally. 5* all round ⭐️👍🏻

A great product, especially for the price. My "New 2ds" fits nicely but it gives to much room for movement and I would prefer the security... Elastic straps or a groove for stability would be appreciated but it's my only gripe... And it's minor. It holds multiple games and even a zip pocket for since accessories. It doesn't have room for a charger but Nintendo love their chunky chargers so no small case has that option. I've had other cases but this is definitely impressive for the price. Recommended!

The simple solution to make my new 3DS XL fit was using a pair of scissors. I cut the netting slightly at one side and now my device, that also has a hard shell on , can now fit. If you don’t use cases it would have fit fine. Other than that this is really easy to carry around , as the handle is good quality. It sits nicely on surfaces . Storing game cartridges isn’t perfect either, as it can be a bit of a squeeze to get them in , but at least they don’t fall out. Also you can’t store the charger brick but there is a zip ocker at the top. I use it to store earbud headphones.

This is meant to be a ‘holds everything’ carry case, however the standard 2DS and 3DS chargers do not fit inside. It is possible to purchase a separate USB charging cable with a USB 3 pin plug with folding pins that will fit inside the case (which is what appears to have been used in the photograph). An expense I can’t afford at the moment. This case is sturdy with a thin felt lining to prevent scratching, however I had expected some padding. It’s basically just a hard shell. This may be enough protection but I don’t want drop it to find out! The slots for the games are very tight, however they may stretch with time to make it easier to put games in. The slots are made with mesh to allow you to see which game is in each slot, but the mesh prevents you from seeing the title and the picture on the game card. Not a deal breaker for me personally, but if you have filled all 16 game slots it may take you sometime to find the game you want. The pocket for the charging cable is spacious and will have room for AR cards and additional game cards once the (fold up) charger (if you have one) is inside. After 12 hours of storing my WHITE 3DS in this case, it became covered in ‘bits’ from the dark lining. It does wipe off. Hopefully this is because the case is new and eventually this might stop but only time will tell. Hopefully none of the bits will get in to the working parts or the charging port of the 3DS and effect performance. Again, only time will tell. An O.K. carry case for me. The faults listed are not enough to return it but it is disappointing my charger won’t fit.
