Decent book
It's entertaining and informative but the ink does seem show slightly on the next page.

A good starting point for A&P
I ordered this book for myself before going on a two week medical course, it arrived very quickly and in good protective packaging. The pages are wide and varied, it covers the Skeletal system, muscular system and an intro into the Endocrine System. The paper is easy to mark with a colouring pencil (I had bought a similar book from another seller and its pages were kinda glossy and difficult to colour). I found it easy to use, everything is numbered and it made easier for me to learn. I would recommend this to anyone starting out in A&P, maybe couple this with a full on Anatomy book just as a reference with a little more detail. The only area I found lacking was the coverage of veins and arteries. Overall a good buy.

Excellent book for adults and children!
I am a science student and to know anatomy is a great thing. Instead of wasting time doing nothing, I thought of colouring useful things and stumbled upon this. Colouring in parts of human anatomy helps you learn as well as give you pleasure when not in mood to read text. It is also good for children I would say as this is is the basic anatomy with some great detail but not so much so as you would expect a medical student to know. So even if you are beginning to take your steps in medicine or you have children whom you want to be ahead of things and want to nurture their creativity and knowledge, then this book is for you! An excellent purchase, highly recommended!

Not for children or anyone learning nursing or medicine!
I made the mistake of ordering it for my grandson, aged 8.Its a rather odd book. One normally associates colouring books with children but the level of complexity is to an older level and the pics are too small...leaving me wondering who the target audience is. Why on earth would an older person want to colour in representations of human anatomy? Still, it raised a smile on Xmas Day as everyone looked at the bizarre present he had! Incidently,I have taught Nursing for 30 years and it is WAY below the level for even a first year Nursing Student. Both Nursing and Medicine are Degree courses. If anyone going into Medicine or Nursing has difficulty retaining knowledge of such basic anatomy without recourse to a colouring book to learn where things are then I just don't think its the career for them! We have moved on a bit in our expectations!

colouring book
This is a wonderful book. I purchased this for my mother who has Alzheimer's. She was a nurse and also painted. I was delighted with mum's response to the book. She is enjoying colouring in the diagram. They are prompting long term memories. It can be frustrating trying to find anything which occupies and gives enjoyment to suffers with impaired cognitive abilities. Would recommend to anyone in a similar situation. Also wish they had been around when I was studying anatomy! Great way to revise!

Fantastic diagrams. Text very detailed.
The diagrams are fantastic. The text to go with each diagram is very detailed and may put some off - particularly for those who might think about buying the book for use in a school with children younger than 10 - 11 years old. Children who have reading skills above their aged related levels for 10 - 11 year olds may get a lot out of the book. I bought the book as revision material for a Year 6 (aged 10 - 11) class that I was teaching to help them revise for the English National Curriculum 2014 requirement of being able to "identify and name the main parts of the human circulatory system, and describe the functions of the heart, blood vessels and blood".
