Third time I’ve purchased
This is my third of this specific kettle in 10 years. I really like the speed of boil and how quiet it is. The blue glow as it boils is attractive. The spout has a good pour, and the volume is enough to fill a large saucepan when cooking. The negatives are that you can see any hard water build up very quickly, the one we had previous to this had started to rust around the metal vase and the flip switch had become unstuck and would easily flick off.

A quality kettle that should last at least five years
This was a replacement of the same kettle five years on. The previous one still worked fine but was looking a bit manky... my fault. The only thing that failed after five years was the on/off toggle at the base of the kettle. It still worked without this. The kettle internal heating plate, after five years, didn’t rust, unlike a cheaper one I bought previously which rusted after a couple of boils. The price today has actually dropped 50p. It might be useful to buy a water filter to stop calcium build up, which isn’t much of a problem anyway. For its longevity (I reckon it should go on for another five years), it is a great buy.

Great Kettle, Fast, Reliable And Long Lasting
Simply the best and only kettle I have used since 2012. This is my third one with each of the past two lasting 6 to 7 years each before they finally "wore out" (the lids are what eventually gave way after years of constant daily use).Very fast boiling whether you are just boiling enough water for a single cuppa or filling it up fully.Easy pour spout that doesn't spill all over the place when pouring as I've seen other kettles do.Saved a good few quid this time as the price was down to £39 when I purchased the latest one. Even at "full price" it is a bit more expensive than some other brands I suppose but when you get 6/ 7 years of constant daily reliable use out of them and they do their job perfectly then to me the slightly higher price makes them well worth the money.A product I'd highly recommend without hesitation to anyone looking to purchase a new, fast and reliable kettle.

Lid spring stopped working after 2 years
Good kettle overall as long as you keep cleaning it from the limescale every couple of weeks (we have very hard water). However, the lid spring stopped working after 2 years of usage: filling it with water is awkward now and not possible with one hand. This is disappointing given that the kettle is not the cheapest one and the rest of it is fully functional, including the filter.
