Flimsy?
I bought Hornby buffer stops some years ago but needed more. These newer ones are very flexible, even flimsy and are not, in my opinion, as good.

Basic moulded buffer stop
Brought for a nephew who’s building a train layout. It does the job but not straightforward to snap into the track, he struggled. Once fitted does the job.
