This is a perfect size when I am making any preserves. I have been using the large one of these maslin pans but it is really far too wieldy. I wish that this had been around when I purchased inadvertently the biggest one. It ha been manufactured exceedingly well, food does not burn and the pan wipes clean after use very easily.

Since buying a new cooker my old 9 litre maslin never gets up to jam set temperature so bought this smaller one and it does the job really well. It actually fits really well on the smaller size ring on my ceramic hob, doesn't take so long to boil, and is as well made as my old expensive one from Lakeland. Even better was the price. I have seen this locally for £35 so I consider this a really good buy. Made plum jam in it, no splashing and easy to pour from.

I have just started making jam and with my first attempt I used an ordinary pan and I ended up with the jam boiling over! I decided to buy a proper preserving pan and came upon this one which I could use on my induction hob. It arrived the next day and I used it straight away. I did 1.1kg of blackberries and there was no problems. It didn't boil over, in fact I could possibly have done a few more blackberries ( if I had them). The jam is delicious. The pan was easy to clean, nothing had stuck to the bottom. It is very sturdy and I'm very impressed with it.

Excellent quality and perfect size for my jam making. Not too large as the large ones can be quite heavy. This one is perfect.

Adoro questa piccola pentola, esattamente come quella (molto più grande) che usava mia mamma. Mi piace fare marmellate, chutney e gelatine, in piccole quantità. Ho inaugurato la mia nuova pentola con una marmellata di fragole, che notoriamente schiuma moltissimo. Anche se il recipiente era abbastanza piena, non ho avuto disastrosi incidenti di percorso con versamenti appiccicosi sulla mia cucina. Tutto sotto controllo.
