It's opaque and dries that way so it's not to be used as a sealer. You can use it as glue but it takes 24 hours to dry and just remember, it's opaque white. It's a lot like white paint, once it's on something, chances are, you won't get it off without a struggle. You can stamp on it once it's dry but it's not as permeable as ordinary paper surface so inks and watercolours are likely to just sit on top (but still dry)

It is white. can be used with acrylic to thicken the colour or as texture, before painting. also used on new calico to give a tooth and seal calico. I use it for overpainting old paintings, mix required colour into it. hope that answers your question.
