Top notch notebook
This is definitely the best notebook I have ever used, and after going through about 4-5 in the past year or so, I can say that I will keep buying them for the foreseeable future. The paper is very high quality and the construction of the notebook itself is very good overall. I have seen some people complain about the front and back covers being flimsy and falling off, but this has never been a problem that I have had with any of the notebooks that I have used. If anything they have held up much better than any notebook I had used previously except for ones that used a hard plastic cover, but that's not really comparable. As for people complaining about the paper tearing out easily, I don't see this as a problem, but as a distinct and deliberate feature of the notebook itself. Its not a design flaw and was definitely deliberately put there as each page has a notch at top to start the tear so it always tears cleanly and easily. This is a feature I am quite happy to have and shouldn't result in a loss of stars simply because they were unaware of this feature. The only personal gripe that I can understand people having is the grid being too bright. I could be more muted, making pencil lines easier to see, but if your using black ink, this isn't really a concern but defiantly a personal preference.

High-quality paper that is very smooth
I use this product to organize my business notes and to do lists. I find the size of the squares used in this graph paper to be the ideal size. I purchased some energy gel pens that I saw were recommended on Reddit to use with this notebook and have been nothing short of impressed. I could write in this notebook all day. The combination of a good pen with this high-quality paper means, effortless writing, minimal, bleed, and sharp notes. I liked the brand so much that when seeking out a personal notebook for notes, thoughts, and even some idea sketching, I couldn’t bring myself to buy another brand and purchased a dotted Rhodia notebook for that purpose. Highly recommend

Excellent product!
I love the smooth texture of this paper. It’s thick enough that my drawings/writings don’t bleed through. Excellent product!

Best graph notebook!
I am a bit obsessed with graph paper to use for note-taking at work. I'm a lefty and my notes often end up out of alignment and off kilter. I like neat, clean lines for my writing. This notebook helps keep things in a neat line down the side of the page, as well as horizontally. The pages are longer than a traditional notebook so you can fit more on each one. There is a nice 1-1.5 inch margin on the left which is perfect for adding follow-up notes or due dates. This is the best notebook! My notes are always neat and organized. It's well worth the money!

The perfect engineering work notebook
In looking for a daily notebook for my engineering job, I look for a few things: * Grid lined * Wire-bound so that I can have it lay flat on my desk throughout the day for reference * Simple, professional-looking cover * A nice page format with an area for putting the date at the top This one hits all the marks, and has a nice paper feel to it to boot. I can write on both sides with a standard pen (Pilot Precise v5) without bleedthrough. The lefthand column is *great* for contextual clues to the primary notes, in the style of the Cornell note-taking system. I haven't had any accidental perforation tears, which usually happens at least a few times as I go through a notebook. My only wish is that the margins were just a fraction bigger - the writing area scans almost perfectly onto an 8.5x11" sheet, but half of one grid cell gets cut off at the top or bottom, and a slightly bigger margin would make it perfect. But nothing that scaling your scans can't fix. I found my new go-to notebook! If the company ever even hints at ever discontinuing it, let me know so I can buy a stock of 100 and never run out. Some technical specs of the gridded version: * Paper weight is 80g/m^2 * Grid size/spacing is 5 mm * Top header rows height is 7.5 mm * Left sidebar width is 30 mm * Grid is 31 x 52 cells, plus the left sidebar (6-cell equivalent) * Size of whole sheet: 225 x 297 mm * Size of perforated sheet: 208.5 x 297 mm

Switching back to one of my old 5 Star notebook and using the same pencil it feels like the the pencil is just dragging across the page
I was hesitant about buying these notebooks given their price. I'm using these for my engineering classes so the idea of spending 50% more than a 5 Star notebook was a little off putting. I know from using half way decent sketch books in the past that not all papers are the same but would it really make a difference in taking notes? Actually it does, a lot. The first thing I noticed using these notebooks is how smooth a pencil goes across the page. Switching back to one of my old 5 Star notebook and using the same pencil it feels like the the pencil is just dragging across the page. Using a ballpoint pen things get even smoother but I don't use pens too often so meh. The paper also seems to take to erasing better. Also having the paper more in the configuration of actual engineering paper rather than just a 5X5 grid pattern is also a nice quality of life (as well looks more professional). Two issues I saw before I bought these was that the pages rip out easy and that there was no hard back. I can confirm that yes both the pages do rip out much easier than from cheaper notebooks (I'm going to stop picking on 5 Star now) and the back cover is not a hard piece of cardboard. I found though for my uses the back wasn't an issue as I use them almost exclusively on a hard flat surface. In regards to the pages ripping out easy, while it's easy to rip the perforation, it doesn't just rip if you look at it wrong. I've only had it start to rip the perforation once when I didn't want it to and that was because I was turning the page close to the spine. Just the knowledge that they will rip out very easy has been enough for me to not be losing pages randomly. This is however a your mileage may vary type thing so you may find it to easy.

Notice the + Plus. This is a bit wider than A4 so It wont fit in your A4 covers
Love the dot pattern and the size is fine. It does fit on my US standard clip board which was naturally longer and wider. It is a very flexible cover vs say a maruman Mnemosyne. I really like the paper and the patter is just the right darkness. Some are too dark they are distracting others like midori MD can be so light you cant see them well forcing me to grid which is very dark. Highly recommend for a large idea notebook. Lots of room to map out items. Note: I just compared to insert A4 paper and I realize it is similar to the notepads. The Plus is the full A4 to the perforations. The tear out is a full A4 so if you have a hole punch you could place in your other binders or standard A4 folder.
