Works in simple recipes
For the last few days, I've been adding this to my pancake mix to see how it works. On the first try, I used more than needed, so the sweetness was a bit strong. The next time, I reduced the amount and it came out much better. Now I only add a small pinch to the batter. It blends in smoothly and the texture of the pancakes stays the same. There wasn't any odd aftertaste, and my family didn't notice a difference. It's been helpful for cutting back on regular sugar while still enjoying homemade breakfast.

Great product. Small bag, but a little goes a long way. 1/4 teaspoon sweetens coffee/tea perfectly. No extra additives. Slight after taste, but easy to get used to for a healthy alternative and zero calories! Definitely worth the price. I transferred it to a glass jar with lid. Works well.

Good Sugar Alternative Once You Find the Right Amount
Dosage is key and it takes a few tries to get it right. For my favorite cup (a Dunoon bone china mug), a heaped spoon using the supplied scoop is about right for coffee, while a level, non-heaped scoop works well for tea. In terms of sweetness, it’s roughly equivalent to a spoon of sugar and does a good job of neutralizing coffee’s bitterness. It is not as sweet as monk fruit blends that contain erythritol—those required about four packets for me—but the absence of additives is exactly what makes this product appealing. This feels like a reasonable compromise: slightly less sweet, but cleaner. As of now, I’m not aware of any risks or unpleasant side effects, and I’m hoping it proves to be the healthier option over time. It is too soon to confirm cost but I expect this to be much less costly than the erythritol version even though the steep cost of a single bag.

Sweet but not bitter
I've tried other sweeteners before that tasted bitter after baking, so I wasn't sure how this one would turn out. I used it in a basic brownie recipe and added less than I normally would with sugar. It mixed into the batter without any problem and didn't change how it looked or felt. The texture of the batter stayed smooth, and it didn't feel grainy at all while mixing. After baking, the brownies were sweet enough and didn't have any strange taste. Even the next day, they still tasted fine with no weird aftertaste. I was glad it worked out. It feels like something I can use again when I bake at home. I also like that I don't need to use much, so it lasts longer than expected. Clean-up was easy too, since it didn't leave any sticky residue. Overall, it made baking feel simple without needing to adjust too many things, and I feel more comfortable using it in other recipes now.

Unappealing aftertaste and difficult to use.
We go Ketogenic diet, whenever we need to lose a few pounds. Due to various questions about certain non-nutritive sweeteners, such as erythritol, and the somewhat limited info about allulose, we decided to try monk fruit extract alone. We had bought some monk fruit-sweetened animal crackers on Amazon and these were quite tasty. Well, the commercial producers must have some trick we're not using, because monk fruit both in coffee we brewed and in ice cream we made was a disaster. There is an aftertaste that is a cross between metallic and bitter and it overwhelms whatever sweetening benefit the extract provided. Also, whereas there are 1:1 ratio sweeteners where you have volume (similar to granulated sugar), there is no volume here. Trying to add gelatin or fiber to create volume in baked goods was a nightmare. And the aftertaste remained: the final nail in the coffin. Perhaps this was a bad batch or there is come genetic predisposition our family has NOT to tolerate this product, but friends we had over were honest enough to say it was unappealing to them, as well, noticing the same aftertaste. We threw out the coffee and the ice cream. A cookie recipe, two days before, also was a huge fail. I won't say the aftertaste is as awful as that in old-style saccharin products, but it's very close. Disappointing purchase boasting bad flavor and limited usefulness.

Autoimmune-Friendly Sweetener That Tastes Like Sugar
I’m currently managing an autoimmune disorder and decided to explore alternative sweeteners that are gentler on my system. I chose monk fruit because it doesn’t spike blood sugar, has anti-inflammatory properties, and works well with sensitive diets. It’s surprisingly sweet—closer to the taste of sugar than something like honey—and a little goes a long way. So far, it’s been a great swap!

Good for homemade drinks
I've started making my own lemonade at home instead of buying ready-made ones, and this has worked really well for that. I just add a small amount and stir it in, and it blends evenly without leaving any residue. The sweetness is strong, so I had to adjust the quantity at first, but once I figured it out, it tasted just right. The lemonade still tastes fresh and natural, not artificial or overly sweet. I've also tried it in iced tea, and it worked the same way. It's nice to have an option that lets me enjoy sweet drinks without using regular sugar all the time. Now I keep it near my kitchen counter since I use it a few times a day. A little really does go a long way, so I know this bag will last me quite a while. It's been an easy change that doesn't feel like I'm giving anything up.

Finally, a pure monk fruit without the digestive upset!
I am thrilled with the taste and finish of this pure monk fruit powder. Like many others, I cannot tolerate "blends" containing sugar alcohols like erythritol, xylitol, or maltitol. I also appreciate that this brand avoids fillers like maltodextrin, which can spike blood sugar. A NOTE ON THE "AFTERTASTE" I noticed some reviewers mentioned an off aftertaste, but I did not experience this at all. If you do, it is likely due to one of two things: ● PALATE SENSITIVITY: Monk fruit contains mogrosides (200–300 times sweeter than sugar). For some, this intensity registers as "metallic," while for others, it’s perfectly smooth. ● USER ERROR: Because mogrosides stick to your sweetness receptors longer than sugar, even a tiny bit too much can feel cloying. START WITH THE INCLUDED 1/8 TSP SCOOP. You can always add more, but a little goes a long way. HEALTH BENEFITS As someone focused on metabolic health, I love that this is truly zero-glycemic. It has a GI of 0 and doesn't trigger the typical insulin response of sucrose. There is even promising research suggesting monk fruit may help enhance insulin sensitivity over time. THE VERDICT: This brand is a clear winner for those seeking a clean, pure sweetener. If it tastes "off" to you, try using a bit less! If it's still not suitable for you, then you may need to stick with a "blend" that includes erythritol.
