Brilliant - it’s saved me Hours
I purchased the 350 M sprayer and it’s brilliant. I am painting out a large workshop area and I started with the roller and brush method - it took me about 4 days to do half of it when someone told me about the airless sprayers - I had never heard of them. I wish I had sooner - what took me 2 days with the roller and brush I did in 2 hours, it’s amazing and really easy to use and it leaves a really nice finish. So the down side is that you must mask any areas you don’t want spraying and cover the floor really well it’s not so much spills but the fine mist will cover anything you don’t cover. Cleaning the machine isn’t difficult but takes a little longer perhaps than cleaning a roller and tray but who cares when it saves so much time. The machine isn’t bulky or heavy and is easy to move around all you need to do is plug it into a power supply. Would I recommend this product - absolutely - it’s already paid for itself in the time it’s saved me.

(ALMOST) Unbelievable results
When looking at painting the whole of our barn conversion, I looked at saving money on paying for a professional decorator to paint all internal walls. As I had so many square metres of plastered/skimmed wall to paint I decided to buy this spray gun after looking in to on-line written and video reviews. The results I've got with this spray gun are little short of spectacular. Whilst the painting is really fast, preparation of the wall and masking up windows and steel girders to protect them from the spray does take HOURS. This is not a criticism as preparation for most things is where jobs can be awful or amazing. I went over all walls with my hand to 'feel' for nibs of plaster and removed these with sandpaper and then took time to mask off window frames. I also found a few great tips and hints to get the most out of the gun, such as ensuring the cable was clear of all items to avoid snagging during spraying... and making sure spray starts and ends away from the wall (to avoid drip regions). I've had quite a few trades in and all have been really impressed with the paint job. I cant recommend this product highly enough. It does need cleaning through thoroughly after each panting session but after a few sessions you get pretty slick at emptying the paint back into the tin and as the diluted paint starts coming through, divert this to a separate tin and use later to dilute new paint. I also found that i needed to really look after the nozzle parts. If I took a break I remove the nozzle and wash it through leaving it in warm water for the next session as this can get bunged up leading to 'spits' of paint if left. The great advantage of this system is (i) quality of finish - I could never get a finish like this with a roller or brush (ii) speed - it seems to apply a few coats at once so although it gets through the 10L pots quickly, its putting a thick coat (maybe equivalent to 2-3 coats with a brush?) in one go (iii) consistency - if you are methodical in applying the paint (you have to keep a constant speed or you'll get light patches or pooling of paint) the look is amazing. I've had NO experience painting with a spray gun before buying this and following the instructions you'll get a fantastic paint finish. I found that the finish i got was as good with 'good' paint (paint shops recommended own brand) as it was with expensive brands (such as Dulux). I don't think anyone can tell which rooms are finished with which paint. I'm sure this is due to the spray gun. I didn't find cheaper paint causing any problems with the spray gun indeed, a 5-10% water dilution (with VERY THOROUGH mixing using a drill mixer) was ideal with all paints used. I've not tried the 'Diamond' Dulux paint through the spray gun (for scrubbable areas of wall such as hallways) but I expect it is just as good. I've had 2 offers to buy the machine after I've finished with it... the results have been that good. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Excellent....but steep learning curve!
Bought this to paint an entire new build house. I'm about a week in and I'm loving this sprayer more and more. It's not for the faint hearted as there is a pretty steep learning curve to get it up and running well. I've done a bit of painting with rollers and brushes in my time and the finish this sprayer can give is simply sublime. Once you're up and running and working on your technique it gets a lot easier. I find a lot of time can go into the masking of windows and stuff beforehand but it's probably the same amount of time that goes into cutting in with a brush before you get rolling. Masking is nearly an art in itself and I'm already getting quicker and more efficient at it, which is quite satisfying. It's a well made machine, in fairness, I own a Wagner heat gun too and they make a very tasty bit of kit. Check out "The Idaho Painter" on YouTube for lots of great videos to get you up and running, love that guy. Finally, cleaning it is actually a doddle as you just run water through it (when using emulsion) instead of paint until it's clean, so really it kinda cleans itself out. Love it.

Delivered on time. Reliable service
Importantly, I was in the middle of having to spray a large number of fence panels when my current sprayer gave up completely. The replacement ordered from Amazon was competitively priced and delivered within 48 hours.

No brainer for painting block work
Garden renovation. I quite like the texture of block work so thought I would give it a go painting them. I’ve painted exterior masonry before… it’s a slog and the results are generally not favourable with a roller, in my view. Enter the Control Pro 350M. This machine is absolutely fantastic. It gets right into the block work and the finish is just spectacular. Preparation is key, it’s incredibly boring and hard on the knees but get yourself some duct tape and a big roll of brown Kraft paper and just cover everything. Today was really gusty. There was the odd spray that just disappeared over the horizon. This could be an issue so be careful as you don’t want to spend the next weekend scrubbing overspray off your neighbours windows. However, even under these suboptimal conditions it worked extremely well. I sprayed a coat of farrow and ball Masonry & Plaster Stabilising Primer (diluted 10%, dial on 2) and it worked extremely well. Make sure you clean everything well straight away after this and wear a face mask while spraying. Left that for 24 hrs and then 2 coats (separated by about 2 hrs) of farrow and ball exterior masonry paint, colour was Inchyra blue. The result was top notch. I diluted by 25% and had the dial on 3, this delivered hardly any blobs/dribbles and any that did just rub them off straight away with wet cloth. There was the odd spot that did I did not mask well enough and got covered (to my dismay) but wife strode out confidently with some nail polish remover and sorted it out. Solid. Btw: - You don’t need the extension unless you’re painting ceilings. - Mix paint really well with a drill. - I’ve never sprayed, watch a few YouTubes, it’s easier than I expected. - Preparation is a pig. However, it is the key to great results, stick a podcast on and get in with it. -if you get dribbles, dilute a further 5-10% and turn pressure up 1/2 a notch. - Cleaning isn’t that bad, you’ve done the work so crack a beer and just clean it. - I’m so impressed with the results I would happily use it for a single, small room. Even though rolling would be quicker and less hassle.

Not quite what I had in mind
Having spent a very long time conducting research in this product before buying it, I was confident in my choice when I eventually put the order in. When it eventually arrived, I was surprised to see that it had already been largely assembled which was quite good as it meant less hassle for me. There were a few parts that still required assembling but on the whole, it was quite simple to sort out. Even for me, a newish DIYer. Then onto the spraying... It wasn't all that it was cracked up to be. I followed all of the manual guidance and watched an online assembly guide for beginners on how to use the machine first time round. I was confident that everything was set up right but still, it wasn't very good. The actual paint delivery onto the walls was underwhelming and very patchy (where the paint was not evenly distributed) but above this, was the amount of paint consumption! Woah! I appreciate that in some reviews it says that "when spraying, you can expect up to 30% extra paint usage" but this thing was thirsty! It's not a totally terrible machine because it still did paint a room quicker than what I could have with a roller and brush BUT in all honesty, when you consider the time for preparing the room i.e. masking and covering everything that you don't want to paint, it's pretty close. If you're only doing a small project, don't bother! You can't beat a good old fashioned style paint job! However, if you're taking on a mammoth task and it's time critical, then sure, maybe give it a go. The issues that I encountered were quite possibly down to "user error" and "lack of experience" so for this reason, I won't be giving it a really low review BUT it does say that anyone should be able to use these machines without experience. I would recommend someone giving it a try if you are sure that you know what you're doing when it comes to this type of thing, otherwise, good luck and have fun with the clearing up afterwards.
