I purchased this for a project i was working on. Its great the amount of control you get on the heating and cooling sockets. I would recommend for reptiles or plants in a greenhouse. It just works once you set it up. Great device

This is a great component to have in the house for your cooling and heating temperature controlling. Easy to store and really issue to use.

So I got this to regulate the temperature within my greenhouse. Had it working in minutes of unboxing, so simple to set up. Easy to set your preferred temperature, when you want it to heat up and cool down. Temperature probe very accurate, had checked it against other thermometer and it's spot on. Very good quality and functions exactly like you'd want!

Very good product, I use this with a heat pad, and a home made insulated box for fermenting beer. This inkbird controller is much better than the previous controller I had and offers control for both heating and cooling. It has very accurate control perameters, and is easy to use and set, with a detachable heat probe. There was also a good deal on when I bought it and managed to get a discount with Amazon as well, so it turned out to be excellent value for money. I only use mine for heating on my set up as I don't currently have any additional space for making a dual fermenting chamber from a fridge.

I went for the Inkbird ITC-308S version, and a good job too, because the temperature probe failed after 18 months. Ordered a new temp probe (same 1.97 inch version) for £9.99 from Amazon and the unit works perfectly again. I'm surprised the probe failed because it's had a quiet and easy life in a tropical tank. Nonetheless, the unit proved its worth earlier when an aquarium heater became stuck on. The ITC-308S successfully detected the rising water temperature and killed the power - so saving the tank. The main unit is a little bigger than I was expecting, and the instruction manual requires several slow and careful reads to get your head around the settings. The settings are actually very simple but not explained in a simple way. Good value for money, overall.

This product is a godsend. I use the probe to monitor bbq temperatures, and control an air blower to manage temperatures for long cooks. This automation has allowed me to make cooking largely unattended. I haven't used the cooling option just yet, but hoping to test it for sprouting seeds in the near future.

I bought this popular temperature controller for home brewing fermentation, the inkbird comes with a main controller and display unit and an attached socket board to plug in both heating and cooling if required. Setup is so easy and the inkbird takes care of things avoiding overheating or underheating. The temperature sensor on mine seems to be about 2degrees centigrade higher than my normal thermometer, however this is a good thing as i can tape it to the outside of my fermenter and the extra 2 degrees pretty much matches the temp of the wort inside. A brilliant purchase for any home brewer where precise temp control is needed for success.

My old refrigerator stopped regulating temperature so I was going to scrap it. I came along this product and now my fridge lives again! Accurate temperate control. Super easy setup. I was worried that there would be a loud relay clicking sound when it actuated, but nothing. Absolutely perfect product and I don’t even think I’m using it for its intended purpose. I won’t use the heat output so I can’t comment on it. Highly recommend!

This is a well designed and ready to use temperature controller. I am using it with my hybrid solar water heating system. My solar water heating system came with a single pump and a single temperature controller. I had to set the temperature of the controller as per the season or as per weather conditions hence making it semi automatic. I have installed one more motor in the system, which circulates the water from the insulated hot water tank through the glass tube collectors. For this motor, I have used this device to control the motor as a cooling device. The original temperature controller is set to 50°C, and the original motor fills the hot water insulated tank as soon as the water temperature reaches 50° integrate and shuts oof once the tank is full. I have set the temperature of this device to 70°C. So after the tank becomes full, the collector heating tube temperature starts to rise, and once it reaches 71°C. The second motor starts and again pumps the water from the insulated water tank, which is 50°C through the collector tubes and heats it up to 70°C. And the cycle continues. This way, I have made my semi automatic solar water heater into a fully automatic solar water heater for which this device is working very well since last one month. The temperature sensor is fairly accurate and the option to set the temperature difference up to 1°C is very useful. It is a plug and play device useful for people like me, who want to do experiments, but do not have Equipment or technical knowledge of assembling various spare parts. The probe of the temperature controller is expandable with good quality audio cable. I am using it with 15 m long audio extension cable. Due to which I am able to place the sensor on the solar water heating panel and the device in-house near the original control panel. I am highly satisfied with this device primarily and it is working well since a couple of months now. Let us see how long it works and will come up with a review again after long-term use.

Be careful you order the right model! I thought the 306 and 308 were almost the same except for the bluetooth extras. The 306 is only for heating applications (chicken coops) and won't work for cold water. I'm returning the 306 that I ordered on another platform (they didn't have the 308 which I would have ordered in the first place). The 308 does a good job with the thermostat and I'm getting used to it.

It's great device but Inam giving negative reviews because: 1. The device is locked in heating whenever the SV temperature is lower then the ambient temperature. 2. They don't replies to email support. Item will be returned if not fixed
