Aviation watch - (not a professional watch)
I was very excited about this watch and needed it for a specific purpose, for use inside our corporate aircraft and when travelling in commercial aircraft. Whilst it may pick up a signal perfectly well in a light aircraft, it was 100% useless in a professional environment. It worked perfectly well on the ground but once above 2000' the watch could not pick up any signal either in the cabin or on the flight deck.A great tool/toy for pilots / passengers / aviation nerds - but in reality, it only works for light aviation and then the question is why would you need such a watch, when you have a glass cockpit on 10 inch screens in front of you.If Garmin found a way for the watch to get a signal inside a commercial aircraft, the watch I think would fly off the shelves. Without it, it is a complete waste of money.
