Minecraft: Wii U Edition (Nintendo Wii U)

I don't love it but my son does. He is never off it - this is good for learning as well at entertainment as kids can build and take stuff down. There are different materials you can work with and they all react differently as they would in RL. My son discovered this when he decided to put a lava swimming pool in his wooden house and it burnt down killing his virtual dogs (lol, he won't be trying that again). The animals need earning and looking after too so there is something to entertain most kids.

You need an hdmi cable to connect your Wii u and the right controllers for multiplayer, once we sorted this out I have been forced under duress to learn how to play multi player on survival. I die a lot and keep getting lost. It's very entertaining watching my son get irritated by my inability to stay safe. Great game.

Minecraft mad here and even though it shows a normal Wii remote on back (checked before buying) apparently you can't use them for multiplayer unless you have a pro controller (?). Lots of frustration trying to get it working but Google searches revealed the truth. Very disappointing from that point of view but still great game

Note this is the PS3 / Xbox 360 version of Minecraft with excellent mario based textures and music from the n64 Mario game, the music from Mario and any of the mash up packs, plays continuously.

Seems quite good so far kids remarked it was a bit difficult using the controllers compared to keyboards but looked nice & smooth to me in the few bits i saw ..the game does have a small download off the internet (as do most Wii u games tbf) but once loaded is quick enough. So as kids have played it on a fast (ish) pc with all the skins it seemed like a step down mainly due to controller learning

The best game for kids ever. And grown ups.... This game is addictive, seriously. Bought for our 8 year old daughter, played by our whole household. So eductional, the possibilities for this game are endless. We've made world after world after world. This game is honestly played daily, very pleased and it was a bargain!!!

Game did not work. I'm not happy to be asked to pay the postage to return the faulty item! Would definitely not use this seller again.

This has been a hit! My daughter says - "it's really good, the controls are fun to learn and I like the selection of skins" - so no complaints here! As the buyer, it arrived quickly, well packaged and was a nice change to the version she usually plays, it also allows her to create when our laptop is already in use. I would recommend this version as a great introduction to Minecraft.

En los comentarios decía que venía en Inglés y que había que cambiar el idioma en Español.No, No y No, al meterlo siguientes la Wii conectada a Internet, ella misma te detecta el idioma y automáticamente se pone todo en Español, no hizo falta hacer absolutamente nada de nada, así que bien juego y al ser importado me ahorre unos 4 euros. Pincha abajo si te sirvió de ayuda.

Mio figlio è stato contentissimo! Gioco intelligente e creativo. Unica pecca che dice mio figlio è che quando sei in creativa non puoi andare in survivor e viceversa. Devi uscire dalla creativa e fare un mondo in survivor.

La descrizione del prodotto riporta: minecraft per wii-u italiano, in realtà è una versione inglese. E' vero che la guida di installazione e il gioco ci sono anche in italiano, ma la copertina fuori è in inglese. Sono dettagli ma la descrizione deve essere più accurata possibile. Essendo un regalo fortemente voluto non ho potuto mandarlo indietro, in caso diverso lo avrei restituito senza esitare.
