Fountain Pen Converter

I bought this to use with my Kuretake 50 sable brush pen to allow me to refill it from a bottle of Platinum Carbon ink. It fits it perfectly, works well and seems solidly made. However I do wish the major international brands of pen makers would copy most Chinese manufacturers and provide a free converter with their pens, or at least bundle one in with them at a reduced price. It seems ridiculous that one can often pay almost as much for a converter as the pen itself. Especially when we all wish to reduce single use plastic consumption. Excuse the rant but like many artists I use document or carbon inks which aren't available in cartridges - even if I wanted to use them - and get very cross at being forced to buy a brand specific converter that only fits one make of pen.

I tried this product out with a fountain pen bought at the same time. It works very well and I am very satisfied with my purchase.

It works perfectly with with my platinum preppy pen and is pretty easy to use. I think it holds slightly less than a cartridge would but it doesn't really bother me as refilling it is easy anyway

A good, reliable converter. I bought it for use in Platinum's own "Preppie" pen with some notorious but beautiful ink that can leave you Baying at the State of your fingers when you dye them Blue. So far the converter has saved me from any leakage problems, so I'm very happy with it!

Perfect for sucking up ink, and, putting it on a nib. Ensure it fits your pen. There's, even, a clever thing which adapts it to 'most' pens. Google to prevent whingeing. Adapter is really good value.

Does exactly what it's meant to. It works well with my Platinum curidas. It's much better to be able to choose your ink. I say this as the platinum ink cartridges in my opinion aren't very good.

Works well but expensive

Put this into a Platinum Preppy fountain pen it fits perfectly ,holds the black Noodlers lubricating ink I’m using no problem looks really nice in gold think it’s a little pricey because the fountain pen it’s in was over two pounds cheaper than the converter .
