STANLEY PC527 PLATFORM TRUCK 150KG

Stanley SXWTD-PC527 150 kg Steel Platform Truck I use this to transport heavier items relatively long distances, today I moved a filing cabinet 2 miles on roads and pavements. this is something I couldn't do with my previous trolley. Likes Folds up and can fit into a large bag easy to carry around at 6.4kg solid tyres are great at least you wont get a puncture but can be noisy depending on surface. . Easy to load up nice and wide platform, but you'll need some straps they aren't supplied. Dislikes Can be noisy on roads steering a bit tricky if you are pushing it likes to go to the sides rather than straight. I found it easier to pull it backwards . this may depend on how you fit the swivel wheels instructions say to fit them to the rear. don't know if fitting them to the front would make a difference? Thoughts Some dampening would be nice it can vibrate a lot and could do with some foam on the handle Overall Very happy with my purchase would buy again if needed this will make such a diffence transporting items should have bought one years ago. Thanks to all the people who answered my question it made up my mind that this was what I needed.

Platform moves very soft and wheels move/turn wherever you want. Excellent quality. Arrived very fast and well packaged. Thank you!.

I'm leaving this early review (I've just assembled the trolley but have not yet put it to heavy use) because another reviewer below called Clive criticised the lack of assembly instructions for this model - Stanley SXWTD-PC527 150kg flatbed trolley - and informed people that the fixed wheels should go at the front and the swivelling wheels at the back by the handle. In fact Clive is doubly wrong and his advice completely misleading: there are clear instructions included (printed on the reverse of the large piece of paper that covers the item in the package) and the fixed wheels should go at the back by the handle and the swivelling wheels at the front - which of course makes it much easier to steer. Fixed wheels at the front would be very difficult to manoeuvre.

It arrives boxed and flat. All you have to do is undo the screws on the base, add the wheels and screw them on with a spanner.The 360 degree 'free' wheels are supposed to go on the back ( according to the photos on the Amazon listing), however, I've put them on the front. It's so much easier to control. Also, there are no instructions as its supposedly 'basic stuff' 🙄. All in all, a fantastic trolley. Very strong, very well made and all the moving parts are quality. The wheels move easily and the mechanism for folding the handle up and down is perfect. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ from me 👍😍.

Supposed to hold 150kg my miss stood on it and it bent she is 48kg

Did arrive a little battered as the box was damaged, but it’s a trolley not a decoration so I wasn’t concerned! It’s sturdy, easy to put together and use. A couple of tips: * The instructions are located inside the description sheet attached to the trolley on unpacking. * Make sure you get the wheels the right way around as at first glance they look the same - the moveable pair go on the front. * To get the handle back down gently place your foot on the silver bar that runs across the bottom of the handle and push down to release.

unfortunately even though i went for a branded name , it didn't last long. quite disappointed as one of the wheels lost its bearings , no pun intended . cannot be used any longer and I stupidly missed the warranty return period . ah well.
