Great additive, to help liver function.

This really helped my dog with a sensitive tummy. Convinced it helped with his liver too as stools improved

Decided to start giving these to my dog after 2 blood tests over the last year have come back with his liver enzymes being slightly low. Now this could be what causes his environmental allergies OR the other way round who knows but I thought there wouldnt be any harm in trying some liver support for him in the mean time. These were a little expensive (BUT) the vets option would likely be more! Its still early days to know if these are helping, I also give him only one a day rather then 2, because it says to give them separate if giving 2 and my dog does not eat 2 main meals a day so this would be difficult to adhere to. Anyhow, he eats them with no fuse in his dinner, so easy for us to administer. No updates as of yet.

I bought these milk thistle tablets for my dog following the diagnosis that she has abnormal liver cells resulting in a liver growth and therefore I wanted to give her something that would provide her liver with some extra support. Since adding these tablets to her diet and giving her a low dose of veterinary prescribed steroids, I have noticed a change in her energy levels and frequency that she is experiencing her painful stomach upsets. Before taking these she would have frequent sore stomachs and now they only occur every few weeks. Whether this is a combination of the Milk Thistle tablets and Steriods, I’m not sure but I have noticed a difference and will continue to order these for her. Highly recommend as a very reasonable price for a great product. Thank you!

Regular user for liver improvement. No recent test but these are palatable - the large 'chewable ' brand just get discarded/ even when ground and added to food - rejected. [He needs dental work so we need an improvement in his liver enzymes for him to cope with surgery - everything crossed.]

Excellent product and service

Bob ( our beagle ) has to take medication that can affect his liver . We give him Milk Thistle and he seems to be doing well

Our cat reacts very strongly to the taste of milk thistle, he absolutely hates it and physically jerks away in exposure to the taste of any type of milk thistle, almost as if in pain. His mouth will also be watering for a long time to get rid of the taste. We got these since other reviews mentioned the cats didn't mind it, but they are condensed milk thistle without an effective coating, so if your cat hates the taste as much as ours then you will need to get empty size 00 capsules (possibly size 0 can work too) to put these in. It's interesting since milk thistle has no taste to me at all, but even the smallest amount of the powder will get a strong reaction from him
