It comes with 22 tips but what is the total capacity? Ie how many tip holders are there in the box? Thanks.

There are extra holes to put your own tips in, my Teen Daughter was the recipient of them, she's now counting them for you, she says there's 30 additional spaces for other tips to be added into it as you extend your range of tips, hope this helps 👍

Is this set complete and ready to use, apart from the actual piping bags? Or are different couplers/attachments required?

Hello, there is one size attachment & coupler, but this is for smaller of the piping tips, the larger sized tips do require you to purchase the correct sized attachment & coupler.
